I think Roy would, after Cahill and Jageilka he has Smalling and Jones ,both are miles away from being world cup players . And you must remember that Roy and Capello both picked JT in front of Ferdinand when both were available ,so Roy obvoiously rates JT .

Solid performance from John tonight, it's a shame our back 4 has to play so deep to compensate for his lack of pace though, it gives the top sides a lot more room to work with.

He made up for that with the elbow on that c*nt Aguero, though! :P

This is absoloute rubbish and a bit of a cliche ,jt reads the game so well he knows when to push and when to drop ,a bigger problem is when Mikel is in the team (thankfully not often now) our back four have to drop deep because of the way Mikel plays . JT was superb today .

Uhm you do realise the goal we conceded was because the defenders were too high up the field.....

I must admit i didnt believe in JT, I thought this would be his last season, playing once in a while... but he proved me wrong. what a fantastic season is he having! mou's return has helped him immensely. Captain, leader, legend!

Oh my god, can't believe that, no belief in JT, what?? He is a legend, we're so lucky to have him

We got lucky that the ref did not noticed that elbow to Aguero head.

I don't understand Terry, but why he has to do some stupid stuff every now and then?

The famous knee to the back of Sanchez is always in my mind.

He might be a great defender, but sometimes he gets a little of David Luiz where the blood rushes to his head and does something stupid.
