Chelsea's winning goal in Saturday's Premier League game against Everton has been credited to midfielder Frank Lampard.

Originally awarded to John Terry, the FA's dubious goals panel has awarded the goal to Lampard having decided John Terry did not make any contact with his international colleague's free kick.

The Premier League's official Twitter account today posted this:

It means that goal has become the 250th of Lampard's club career, and this - his seventh goal of the season - moves the Blues' current number 8 to 210 goals in total for Chelsea. No longer credited with the goal, it means John Terry's career tally for the club now remains at 57.
