HRiver 1,512
Just imagine if we sign Neymar, Lukaku, and other top players along with Hiddink or whoever the new coach is, on transfer deadline day. If I'm not mistaken, it's on 31 August. We'd have to wait some good 3 months then.
Tomas Kopriva 1
Hughes' agent, Kia Joorabchian, said that Mark would be interested in coaching Chelsea, where he played three seasons as a player. Good or bad?

Peace. 4,352
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCV0KJ-_At0Back on topic, i'd be very surprised if Guus isn't appointed new manager by next weekend. On topic : I don't think Hughes as assistant would be a good move. i don't believe coaches of his caliber are able to stay under the command of another coach. Madmax 9,219
This just proves that talk about having decided about sacking Carlo even if he won the league and having someone in mind midway through the season was bollocks.Had that been the case, we would have announced a new manager by now. We're fumbling in the dark once again. Typical Chelsea.

It wanst official yet because they are probably resolving things with Turkirsh Federation.

Shane 2,275
I'd welcome Sparky tbh, He's the type of person that wouldn't start players because of their names, He'd give youth a chance, He's English, and If Roman tried to interfere with the team he wouldn't have it. Already has the respect of the players and fans, and its a big chance for him to show the world what he could do.
Henrique 9,133
garbosj Ian McGarry Talks between Hiddink and #CFC and Turkish Football Federation are on going. No final agreement reached as yet.garbosj Ian McGarry Hiddink as DoF and Van Basten as coach was the option for some time. Since, MvB chances are reduced. Roman wants Guus to coach. GH undecidedgarbosj Ian McGarry OK. Here the story: Roman wants Hiddink to coach. Guus is unsure and would possibly prefer DoF. That conversation remains unresolved. #CFC

ChelseaFanUK 1,014
I was just reading garbosj tweets now, and boy has he backtracked. From MVB and Hiddink nailed on. Its now, Hiddink would prefer DoF, talks regarding this are still unresolved, his wife doesn't want him doing day to day coaching, which again points to DoF job. And MVB has not been mentioned in a long time.To sum his tweets up... Hiddink will be DoF if anything.
