Kalou in 'unsung EPL team'

The latest in my mini series of teams of the year comes from Alex Hess, who's done an 'Unsung EPL Team or the Year'.

Leading the line is Chelsea's Salamon Kalou, who has the best goals to minutes ratio at the club. Does he deserve a mention?

Absolutely.

People will no doubt say that statistics are misleading, but what endears Kalou to me is his faultless work ethic and his dedication to the team. His all-round contribution is also good in terms of goals and assists, and I think he is the perfect sort of player to have as second choice at the club.

Definitely Al-Habsi over Robinson though, imo, he's been the Premier League's best keeper after Cech & VDS. Aside from that, no complaints.

Always rated him since he isn't a first team player.But he comes of the bench and makes the changes and often has a fantastic game.

Can be so frustating at times but thats the same with every player he just seems to be picked on more lol

He does definitely deserves it. He often has great substitute appearances and has made some very important goals for us. Don't know what to think about his starting place for the game right away against Utd...

Yeah strange one, that. I've alwasy thought Kalou is fine against lesser teams but for games lke this best used as an impact sub when legs are weary, he can be lethal then.

Been terrible this season to be honest. So when you've got Torres on the bench Carlo's more likely to throw him on instead.
