Barca should start acting school........

Watching the "Five Pens" Clip again gets my blood boiling again. Not good for my heart.

As for Barcelona and Refs, I wouldn´t talk about a conspiracy that helps them cunts but I´d definitly say that they have been favoured in more than one occasion in the CL by refs, more than any other team.

We are not talking about Chelsea here getting descisions in the Leauge, that happens, weekend in, weekend out, but in the CL you might think that Refs give it a good second thought before flash a red card into a players face.

As TX said, there is a consistency in Barca games in them getting descisions, not just in the KO stages but also in the group stages when their mental goalie jumped into the arm of the Copenhagen striker....that was such a blatant booking that you just lose your words describing how Valdes (what a dirty chav by the way, can you imagine Cech getting into the face of the oppositions coach like VV?) was allowed to stay on the pitch.

Bosses rule out Barca bias

Ancelotti and Wenger reject Mourinho claims

By Ben Collins. Last Updated: April 28, 2011 4:20pm

Carlo Ancelotti and Arsene Wenger have rejected Jose Mourinho's suggestion there is a refereeing conspiracy in favour of Barcelona.

Mourinho vented his fury after his Real Madridspacer.gif side had Pepe sent off in the first leg of their UEFA Champions Leaguespacer.gif semi-final, and Barca went on to win 2-0 at the Bernabeu.

German referee Wolfgang Stark's decision to show the Portuguese defender a straight red card meant that Real have been reduced to 10 men in each of their four games against Barca so far this season.

And although Ancelotti agrees it was a harsh dismissal, the Chelseaspacer.gif boss is confident there is no bias towards Barca.

"I don't think that there is a conspiracy," he said. "Football is football. There is no conspiracy.

"The referee can make mistakes and I want to think that everything is okay, everything is clear, because this is my work.

No conspiracy

"Obviously, there are mistakes in football, referees, players, coaches, but there is no conspiracy.

"I know Stark very well," Ancelotti added. "Stark is not a referee who can be intimidated. He has a strong personality. He's a very good referee. Maybe he did a mistake yesterday."

Arsenalspacer.gif manager Arsene Wengerspacer.gif was on the receiving end of another dubious decision in favour of Barca in the last 16 of this year's competition.

The Gunners boss was handed a one-match ban for hitting out at Swiss referee Massimo Busacca after Robin van Persiespacer.gif was shown a second yellow card for time-wasting.

Barca went on to claim a 4-3 aggregate win to reach the quarter-finals but Wenger feels those decisions have been a coincidence.

"It's difficult for me to comment on that because we were involved in a situation like that," he said.

"I refuse to believe that because the day I believe that, it is impossible to manage.

Accidental

"This season, they [Barcelonaspacer.gif] certainly had some advantages. I feel that they were accidental.

"When a manager comes out of a big game like that, and you have a disappointment, you have to accept that you can sometimes go a bit too far," Wenger added.

"But I refuse to believe that there is, let's say, a script behind the stage and that Barcelona is advantaged.

"I feel that they over-react, certainly, but they play certainly the best football at the moment in Europe and you have to give them credit for that."

lol you are the one that is coming with excuses of conspiracy theory. But fail to look at the games with your team gets help.

That is just hypocrisy!

Hey mate i agree that we get help sometimes but if u will see it those r in d games where opposite teams also get advantage................for example u r saying barcelona also should have awarded penalty but 4 to 1 is a really bad ratio n red card for yaya toure on 25th or 35th minute(abidals red card was also a mistake but der is a difference to play 10 men for an hour n for 20 minutes)...................in match against manu i agree tht luiz should have been sent off but u forgot tht Rooney shouldnt hv played in tht game for elbowing mccarthy..............

Well here is the thing. You are up 1 to 0 with one more men.

What you do? Kill the game!

What does Chelsea do? Take out Drogba and defend!

No ref made Chelsea lose. It was Chelsea own fault they lost, for being stupid!

There is no conspiracy theory. Chelsea could have killed the game, and for being over conservative, it cost them.

Tough luck.

justin3D you make good points sometimes, but on other occasions, :fainthv9:

Dude it was Chelsea fault they got eliminated against Barca.

You can't defend when you have one more men and leading by one goal.

If Drogba had made that goal that Valdez saved, no one would be speaking about this.

Chelsea fault, not the ref!

You're like a broken record.

Over and over and over and over again with the same nonsense.

Of course we missed chances that should have been put away, Drogba was guilty of two glaring misses in either leg, but it is absolute peanuts in comparison to the 4 stonewall penalties that were wrongfully and perhaps purposely denied by a referee who was more than just incompetent.

It doesn't matter if we missed chances that day, because as per the rule book, we deserved those penalties and we weren't given them. End of story.

Now that Barca influences the ref a lot.... I don't negate that. They are good at influence the ref with their acts.

For that, it's bad.

And like I said, Barca should had a penalty at Camp Nou along with Ballack sent of. How that would have left the game?

Dead maybe for the second leg???

Here the fact is that, there is no conspiracy, because the ref. had clearly giving the advantage to Chelsea. One man up, one goal up.

It was Guus that screw it up by going all defensive.

What are you on about? If anything, Abidal should have been sent off in the first leg itself when he pulled down Drogba in the box. He was lucky to even make it to the Bridge.

Just like Ballack was lucky to get back to the Bridge, and Chelsea with no goal against them for the non awarded penalty towards Barca, where Bosingwa brought down Henry.

If we get them penalties though, then we win.

How did we earn all them supposed penalties by being defensive.

Best thing said in a long time.

You are right. But i am afraid a lot of Chelsea fans like to live in the past, with Mourinho and such.

I rather move on, and put all this nonsense about conspiracy, manager, who got sack, etc etc behind.

We have a good team, with a good coach, and hopefully Roman will help it get better in the summer.
