Gattuso ban.

Just heard he's received a 4 game ban. Please tell me they made an error reading it and meant a 14 game ban?

Considering Drogs' lengthy ban for telling the truth, I can't help but feel a bit hard done by.

The word corruption keeps popping up in my head.

Hahaha spuz..Yes Berlusconi paid them..he probably promised Platini that he will have a night with Ruby

Makes you sick though. I can't understand how they get away with it. I think Gattuso's antics on the pitch alone might warrant a 4 game ban.

Like you say, I think Platini and co. have been paid in cash and a few 17 yr olds.

Yeah! Gattuso's agent said it went along the lines of "You f*cking Italian b*stard". He knew what he was doing in provoking Rino.

When did this come out? I heard Gattuso said he's not saying what Joe said to him. Even still, why couldn't Gattuso suck it up and give him verbal abuse back? Italian bastard.

The ban should be lifted if that is the case.

Disgraceful.

I disagree, no need for violence like that. I know a lot of people will say there's no difference between verbal and physical abuse, yet we defended Drogba over his verbal abuse.

The day after. ESPN reported it, don't think it made it to the "main" headlines. Read into that, what you will. But it'd make sense. Just look at Jordan screaming at him in the lead up to it, he was in his face, shouting his head off. Wouldn't surprise me if those curses were thrown in.

Gattuso did realise his error and apologised remember. But Jordan and the world know he's a fiery character, a passionate man, who takes no nonsense. I'm sure if someone called Drogba an "African bastard" he'd react in almost the same way.

I think Joe was right to do what he did though. As much as I despise Spurs, the way Gattuso was playing was ridiculas.

Jordan is a coach. He has no right to be speaking and making the opponent more aggressive. He was provoking an already angry man.

If Wenger did that, we'd all be calling for his head

I'm surprised Joe Jordan gets away scot-free.

I get it. :D I can't come up with any more though.:)

He should have give him a wee Glasgow kiss back though.

I think regardless of what Jordan said he shouldn't be doing that. I'll never fathom UEFA out.

To be fair if gattuso had nutted wenger I think only a 1 game ban would be sufficient.

I disagree though,a player/manager should be able to take any insult on the pitch and laugh it off. Otherwise they'd be a snding off every 5 minutes if players reacted to being called names.

I don't really care was said to him. Footballers are looked up to by millions of children around the globe. Seeing a grown man react like that to something that has been said to him, as well as actions of thuggery and petulance is utterly shameful and casts exactly the wrong sort of impression on kids around the world. Its totally unacceptable; if I was to react like that to a tutor, for instance, I'd have criminal charges against me and be kicked out of sixth form. Gattuso gets away with a four-game ban and a minimal fine, what a joke. Its about time the has-been was put down, he's nothing but an animal.

Those same kids were watching Joe Jordan swearing his ass off and provoking him. Do you condone that?

I'm not saying Gattuso was right, he's far off it. But the fact is Jordan is as guilty as Gattuso for not setting an example to kids. If I swore at my tutor and called him a "f*cking b*stard" I'd be expelled for sure.
