Steve 10,227
Hey guys, hope someone can help me out here. I have been offered a flat in NW8 close to St John Woods Tube. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me about the area. apparently it is only one tube stop to central london and about half hour to get to the bridge. Does anyone know about the area? I have been offered a flat there for the period of time i need and it looks really good. But just need some advice on the area.Cheers guys! middleoftheshed 388
I've only really been there once so seen very little of it but it seems like a very nice area. Right by Regents Park and for sightseeing there is Abbey Road studios and the cricket ground - Lords I think? Also Camden Town and the Baker St area are probably within walking distance and it only takes about 15 mins on the tube to Oxford Circus. Gianfranco_Z 202
If we're doing a TC meetup i'm hoping it can be a midweek game, have to work most weekends if it is though, let us know and i'll try book some time off work. And BL? Horrible drunk? Sounds like great fun!

Steve 10,227
Thanks for that guys!Does anyone know much about the Oyster cards? I need one for 3 months, and will be using transport pretty much everyday. So am i better off getting a pay as you go card or getting a Travelcard? Hope someone can answer that for me because its confusing me
Gianfranco_Z 202
Apply for an Oyster Card, if you're travelling around London I think it would work out so much cheaper

LDN Blue 7,903
St Johns Wood, Jubilee station!About 15minutes away from me . Don't worry, the underground system isn't that bad once you get used to it, though the disruptions on weekend are a nightmare!

LDN Blue 7,903
So you recommend it mate? Not sure about the actual area, but transport wise it sounds perfect for you. The area itself isn't too bad from hearsay and if it's in your budget I'd recommend it
