Drogba or Hasselbaink

Drogba is much more complete so my vote goes to the Drog. Drogba can hold up the ball he can play the lone striker role, also Drogba traditionally links up with Lampard amazingly well, and he scores goals.

Jimmy was pure Dutch in the way he could finish off chances with aplomb, jimmy was just a complete finisher left foot right foot header not much else to his game.

Of course Jimmy is not two times better than Drog...is a force of expression, as we use to say in Brazil. To other hand says that hes one of the greatest strikers of all time is too much for me.

Drogba is a zillion times better than Jimmy ...thats an expression used on 606 ...My other foot says Drog is the best striker in the Universe except

for Brazil and Uranus

Drogba is the better player for me but there was something about Jimmy that i just love. He was such a character and in my opinion had a greater rapport with the fans than Didier. So for me, Didier is the better player, but i love Jimmy so much more.

If Hasselbaink HAD been able to head the ball, and hadnt strolled around half the time he could have been the greatest.....

Exactly he got through his whole career on just pure natural ability, he did not chase around or fight for his team he just controlled the ball and lashed it past any keeper in world football.

Drogba had only two great seasons, but for a striker of his price, this was an obligation. Good striker, but no more than that.

His goals to game ratio in the other seasons have also been good. The two seasons you mention he played a lot of games, more than any other seasons. So the truth is if Drogba plays a lot he scores a lot.

Henrique I'm not sure if you have heard but Drogba has malaria. Have some symptahy bro.

JFH and Drogba are two different types of player, so it's not easy to determine who is the best, Drogba has the better strength, whereas JFH was a lot quicker of a player. I like strong strikers however, so I will have to say Drogba.

but this hat-trick by JFH in 19 minutes brings back the memories!

I know, but im coparing Didier and Jimmy, I did not create this topic to put the african down...he is superb striker. He is good, was superb in last season. Put Shevchenko on the bench...

but Hasselbaink was as good as him, if not better. I wanted to know if Chelsea´s supporters had the same feellings I have about him. Its a shame that Mourinho spend money on Kezman when we already had Jimmy.

Fair enough. I agree with you that he should have stayed longer. Hell, even a few more years because even in his old age he wouldn't have been any worse than Shevchenko!

If Mourinho had kept Gudjohnsen and Hasslebaink I wonder if Drogba would've broken into our squad back then..
