Krypt 241
If we sign him, it is a good sign for the future of Chelsea's front line, if we don't, i hope we have a back-up plan like Sanchez or someone for the summer. Despite whereever we finished, the most important thing we need in the summer is the backing of Roman in looking for the replacements of players that we brought in, oh so long ago.I think we need a winger and a creative midfeilder, the most perfect candidates for me is Hamsik, Hazard, Sanchez and Neymar. If we get them all or not, but i think they have a bright future ahead of them, and if we don't sign any, then i don't think it is really showing the true colours that we should be doing for the future. It all depends on Champions League football. These type of players would get snapped up by the team's in the CL .I think If Trained well Neymar could become one of the best in the world. Its weird seeing so many Brazilians linked with the PL. eldo 868
Please stop that kind of thing. Neymar dont need to go to Europe to be a "proven player", because what he is doing in Brazil shows that he can play at Chelsea. Garrincha, Pelé, Zico, Sócrates, Ademir da Guia, and thousands of great players that Torres dont even deserve to clean their boots never played in Europe. It really piss me off. Brazilian league is better than most part of european leagues. I would say that only Premier League, La Liga, Seria A and Bundesliga are better than Campeonato Brasileiro. They leave them too much time on the ball. When Neymar played against decent argentinian defenders, he wasn't able to connect his game. Surely he can move the ball quickly, but does he think quickly? You can't compare footballthat was played decades ago with one that is played now. Peace. 4,352
It's gonna be really tough to get him. Santos doesn't seem to be disposed to sell him in a near futur. Futhermore he gots a huge buy-out clause, something like £40million. As Eskweston has said, he has the qualities that we're lacking of. So I think it worths it to sign him...Though, if we buy someone from Santos, I would rather buy Ganso.PS: I really don't know who is gonna be the better between Neymar and Hazard, but to label Hazard as an overrated player is a bit retarded. So it is not possible to know who is really good in that league! But in my opnion Hazard is overrated...

But those things what Neymar does on youtube videos he wouldn't be able to do against PL defenders. He wouldn't get so much space.
DYC. 7,542
Your saying that two players touted to be future world class players, isn't good enough for Chelsea? With teams like rivals Arsenal, Man Utd, and Real Madrid linked to them, you are saying that, they aren't good enough for Chelsea? You saying, a 23 year old playmaker that is one of the best midfeilders in his league, isn't the type of player that could benefit us for the future? An 23 year old player, that captains his OWN National team, isn't a sign that he isn't a large prospect? How about a 20 year old who has 17 caps to his name? A 20 year old player that has got some assists to his name, can't benefit a club where a creative spark is needed?Hazard has played more then 122 games for Lyon, 18 of which have been in Europe. That shows me just some belief in statistics alone, shows sign of world-class potential.Hamsik is not a playmaker. He's Lampard-ish.

I watched the match against Argentina and he was more on the ground the he was up, and seeing these were only decent young players, imagine what would someone like Vidic to do him XD He's fly out of the stadium lolStill and incredible talent if you ask me, but I don't see him playing in the EPL... Badboy 1,526
Henriqueinho i think its a little silly for you to say Neymar is better than Torres, yes maybe in the future but as of right now its a pathetic comparison.

BlueLion. 21,491
Why, because he's Brazilian? I know the old adage. The English invented football, the Brazilians perfected it. But that doesn't stop the world's top five players being Argentine, Portuguese and Spanish.
