Spurs chasing Gallas

Tottenham are on the verge of signing former Arsenal and Chelsea defender William Gallas on a free transfer, BBC Sport understands.

The 32-year-old France international is due to undergo a medical on Friday ahead of signing a one-year deal.

Although some details of the deal are not yet finalised, Gallas has agreed to take a wage cut to join Spurs.

i actually like it, its a great move for him and i don't mind it at all, he wouldn't be able to go any higher. Football is just a job at the end of the day. So many players go to rivals, it's just how it is.
