I don't want to chase money, to wake up everyday and fill like crap about my job, even though I have money .Problem is I have no idea what that job is yet ...Think about what you enjoy or enjoy doing and figure out a way to work around the things you enjoy or doing what you enjoy. In my off time I love getting friends together and trying new restaurants or bars, having people over and cooking/entertaining. So for me I seem happiest in hospitality and food service. I get paid to meet new people, entertain them for the extent of their stay, and get them to try delicious food and drinks. Some people hate that sort of work but for me i'm just getting paid to do what I would be doing for free anyway. Also I love working on my feet along with the constant chaos/unpredictability of the industry..... Barbara

Also I love working on my feet along with the constant chaos/unpredictability of the industry.....That's exactly what I want. Congratz for living that sort of life !I seem to really like the area of videos and photographs, anything around these. The first time I tried to work in Photoshop was when I was around 11 or so.. And my first "special effects" video was when I was also 11-12, I did a Lightsaber video with my friend. After that, I always really liked taking photos when I went to other countries, but I wasn't really doing too much. Then, around 2 years ago I really got into action videos, explosions, shooting and all that.. So I opened a Youtube channel with the same friend who I did the Lightsaber vid with when I was 12, and we got around 2000 subscribers and were Youtube partners - we were actually making money off of it. Around a year ago or so we quit because it is really hard to get fake guns and stuff here because of the security situation here, plus we didn't really have good actors to work with or any good camera. Then now, I'm really getting into Photography, I bought a really good camera today and I learn new things everyday, exploring this area.Anyways, that seems to be the general area which I always keep coming back to. I'm going to the army for 3 years in about a year or so, so I dont even know if I'll like this area after I'm done there. This whole 'not knowing what I want to do in life' thing is giving me a headache. DustinC
DustinC 136
I hope you figure it out. Thankfully for you media/photography is a field that won't be going anywhere. There are schools all over the place to hone your skills and I know several professionals around my city that make a living in film/photography that never even went to college. Does your military give education assistance once you finish service? Several people join the United States military specifically for the education reimbursement. yuvala

Not really ..You can learn certain skills while in the army, and then you're almost guarenteed a job when you go out, but its mostly engineering, computer science, electronics and these sort of things.I can actually serve as an army photographer but I feel like I want to do something more important + its hard to get this postion, it depends on who you know and connections you have.. which I dont. DustinC 136
Ohhhh. Weird. Well, I guess at least there is a good job market for you when you get out if they won't reimburse for schooling. I think it is like that with some companies here as well.

It might be different from the USA army because here we HAVE TO go to the army for 3 years (girls for 2) when we turn 18 and finish highschool .So basicaly while in other countries people finish high school and go to college and everything, we're stuck in the army for 3 years, delaying our lives basicaly. But thats how its gotta be here, because of the situation.

I wish working in customer service for a few years was mandatory though ha. Some people just never learn how not to be such shitty scumbags when traveling, shopping, or dining out. Barbara 15,149
now I've figured out why Oscar has the same architect as me, he lives about 40km away from me!!! Had no idea. But I guess he chose the architect because the guy is a boss (although pricey, but I suppose that's not a problem for Oscar - me on the other hand... it took me five months to pay the project alone - not done paying the house). This is the project he did to me (I love curves and hate squary/boxy houses):I've changed a few things, but well, it's pretty much that, including the color. Figuring out if I buy it from ex-husband or if he buys it from me... we don't want to sell to someone else as put our hearts in the house. Until then no one lives there, which is a shame. Barbara 15,149
That looks AMAZING! I hope you get it!The thing is to buy it - he's willing to sell (although only for me) - I would have to have a lot of money... which I don't right now (I don't have any money now, much less a lot). My mother is willing to give it to me, but he loves the house more than I do. There's a (music) studio there he spent months projecting and the hot dry steam (sauna?) thing whatever that is called. He chose the location (I chose the architect though) and he put a lot of his heart there. I feel bad about buying it from him...He also doesn't have all the money now, so for now I live in an apartment (across the street from the condo where the house is), he lives in another house (both paying rent) until we figure out what we do. Thing is I'm not even sure I'll continue to live in the city I live now. There's nothing else holding me back here and all my family lives 500km away from me. So that's also a factor... I don't know what to do.There's always the possibility of getting married to each other again, hahahaha, that would actually solve the house thing.
