Why is Nepal typically considered a 'spiritual' place? A place where people who are 'finding themselves' should go? Are they some sort of 3rd world country or something? I was checking out prices of typical things over there, and to rent a rather decent house it's around £60 a month!!

I'd be interested in staying there for a while, perhaps teaching English if this is one of those places where you can do such a thing, but consistent internet drop-outs and less technology would get on my nerves a bit.

I try to be impartial and try to be civilised here when debating. But some users get so passionate and aggressive it's a little off putting. It's as if they are offended when over people think differently and it's their job to 'fix them'. The whole point of a forum is to debate and learn, so why get so angry?

I'm not calling anyone out and insulting them in any way. It's just an observation.

Once again I wasn't talking about you, I have no fixation on you. I was talking about users in general. I can think of a few instances where people have flared up because someone doesn't agree with them. If I wanted to talk about you I would have mentioned you. Do you really want me to name some people that get over aggressive when people disagree? I'm sure they'd hate it and it would make me a very unpopular user given the large amount of people like this.

There is nothign wrong with showing a little passion, but debates aren't for passion. That's what arguments are, and I didn't come for arguments.
