DON'T WORRY. THIS IS NOT A POO-RELATED UPDATE:

Can someone please tell me about alcohol in footy stadiums on match day?

I've seen people in the crowd with hip-flasks (I assume there's whisky in them to warm them up) but obviously no bottles of Vodka or Rum.

So are you allowed, if you're of age, to simply take the flask containing alcohol in with you? Or do you have to hide it somehow?

I ask because as I'll legally be allowed to buy alcohol when next season begins, I'd like to take along whisky especially for the away games.

Do different clubs/stadiums have different rules regarding alcohol?

Thanks you sexy mofos.

Alcohol doesn not warm you up. It gives you a sensation of being warm from the ehtanol but in actuality makes your blood vessles dilate moving the blood closer to the top of the skin, also taking away blood from the core of your body. The heat then of course dissapates into the air.

The easiest way is just to mix whiskey or whatever with a coke and put it in a coke bottle.

Watched a music channel and I see Girls Aloud are back together, what a bunch of utterly untalented, washed up idiots. Wonder how long they'll last? 2 months before chucking the towel in because they are shite.

Probably the person you'd least expect that comment to come from too hahaha.

Being a cultural philistine helps.

What?

Riots started a few days ago over the right to fly the Union Jack in Northern Ireland. The Unionists feel like they are losing their identity. But of course it goes much deeper than that. Unemployment rates are rising and everything that has happened in the last century, is still felt strongly.

Ok, I am not very familiar with the situation. What does the flag have to do with it? Why cant it be used in public building of NI?

The city council of Belfast voted for Union Jack to be flown only for 15 days a year. The Union flag is seen as a very British thing and a lot of Irish nationalists believe that it is a symbol of English imperialism. But of course in Belfast there are a lot of Unionists and they are angered by the ban because they think it marginalises them. Northern Ireland is a part of the United Kingdom whereas the Republic of Ireland is independant of the UK. It all started about 100 or so years ago when the English occupied Ireland. For a while the Irish were pissed off but some started thinking that being apart of the UK was a good thing and so The Trouble began and Irish people started killing eachother over whether or not they are British.
