I think he was due to join West Brom on loan, but the deal for Luiz wasn't completed until late on deadline day. Therefore the only place he could go was the Championship, as the loan window for lower league clubs was still open.

Not good signs for Bruma! There is still time however to improve over 4 months! He should get some games under his belt in that time!

Bruma faces a tough challenge to achieve the same status. Incumbent pair Ben Mee and Sol Bamba have impressed for much of the season, whilst Portuguese Under-21 international Miguel Vitor provides stiff competition as backup. Nonetheless, the fact Chelsea have been comfortable enough to allow him to join Leicester indicates that they intend to use him.

It's going to be tough for players such as Alex, Luiz and Bran to play regularly, and there wouldn't be space for Jeff to get his chance. I'm all up for a loan.
