For the first couple of albums vocalist used to scream and growl, but he got a throat infection on the third (i think) and was forced to sing more melodic, which imo sounds better.

I can't stop listening to Linkin Park latest album, A Thousand Suns. Was put off at first due to me being an ignorant fuck-tard, but after getting it and playing through it, i fucking love it! Easily there second best album. Fifa 11 was the reason i got it though, Blackout is a beast of a song!
