Another truly chilling combination of Unkle's brilliant composition of music and Ian Astbury's incredible vocal range. The lyrics really are good as well, but for me it is the composition of the violins and opera-esque back-up vocals. IMO, it all blends brillaint to make an truly good song.

My Rock/Metal listening is mainly the old bands such as Maiden,Led Zeppelin,Black Sabbath(the pioneers of metal) and the Legendary Metallica as well as Guns n Roses but went off Roses once Axl Rose decided to be a greedy cunt.

I watched "Flight 666" on BBC4 the other day.A movie charting Iron Maiden on their "Somewhere in Time" tour around South America,Asia and Australia and on their own plane.

Never knew that Maiden frontman(Bruce Dickinson) was a qualified pilot.very impresive indeed.

Maiden guitarist Steve Harris had a West Ham crest on his guitar frame,being a die-hard Irons fan,but i could live with that!

Flight 666 is a must see for any Maiden fan.

Yeah, Bruce is a complete legend.

Remember reading somewhere that there was aload of British Citizens trapped in another country because of airplane strikes, so he flew his own plane over there and took all of them back home. What a complete nice guy, and he was raised in Mansfield, just about 30 mins from where i live.
