🇮🇹 Roberto Di Matteo

Despite the stats showing that we are better under AVB than RDM, the former is just to be blamed as much as RDM, IF we are going down that route. The failure to beat the likes of Fulham, Wigan, Norwich, Swansea, West Brom and Aston Villa is one of the major reasons why we are not in the Top 4. Adding to that, consistency in the league has also been a big problem under AVB, not just RDM. Our best winning run of the season is just 3 games. 3 GAMES!! And our longest unbeaten run? 6 games with 3 wins and 3 draws in it. We couldn't even manage to string anything more than that.

last 3 games in march and whole of April ...unbeaten run of ELEVEN games

Villas Boas vs Di Matteo PL Record

Yes Villas Boas has 17 more games than Di Matteo but the average points/goals/goals against stats are interesting.

Can't compare the two, RDM has managed a side that played a game every three days. He gambled with the team selection a lot (for obvious reasons) and sometimes it worked out, sometimes it didn't.

I don't think we can accurately use this season's league record for anything.

so you are selective in choosing your stats ,,,ignore games like Benfica and Barca and FA cup final ....VERY FAIR

The stats posted in the previous was based on PL games only FFS and I posted based on that!

True. And dont forget that in this 10 games we played with teams like ManCity, Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham (almost all of them were away matches). We played a game every three days and for example RDM recently has lost faith in 4th place and he choose a back up team against The Reds at Anfield.

I should be interested to know who you want to see as next manager as you obviously dont want RDM

Don't simply make assumptions on things I never said. I'm not even blaming RDM whatsoever on our failure to get into the Top 4 via league because the damage has already been done and with our inconsistency in the league even before he took over, I had already given up on any Top 4 hopes. AND I wouldn't have any complains should Roman decides to give RDM the job!

if you dont know what the word means look it up

Was I really doing that?! Was just telling the truth anyway & clearly stated that AVB is as much to blame as RDM IF anyone intends to go down that route. AND besides, isn't this a forum for members to post their opinions on topics?!

two months ago we were in our worst situation for over 10 years ...look back at the posts on here ,,,..

RDM has done a remarkable job in salvaging our season .. I just get furious when people now come on here nit picking and trying to find fault.

WE SHOULD BE ON OUR KNEES THANKING HIM

I agreed, which is why I want him to continue next season.

But I still advice caution, which is why I would like the club to give RDM a one year deal and see how he holds.

And Kalou wants RDM to continue:

Give job to RoB

Salomon Kalou claims former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas left the club in a mess and feels that Roberto Di Matteo should get the job permanently.

Kalou wants whoever picks him..

He only started a grand total of 4 games under AVB. He even humiliated Kalou after starting him for the first time, by substituting him off in the 34th minute of the game, lmao.

I doubt Kalou will play much next season, hopefully Marin plays well.
