LDN Blue 7,903
As an England fan.. Can't say I'm not delighted. As a neutral.. Horrible decision. He brought it on himself, second red card.
zolayes 14,489
I suppose Sky Sports will now start a witch hunt against Rooney ...replaying how he lashed out and deserved at least a match ban ..guess they will post the video twice an hour for a week ,,,..... perhaps not though ,,have a day of National celebration instead

Rubber bullets 1,183
Had this been any other player, would they have bent over backwards to get their ban shortened? The answer is no. Its like we are being held hostage for this thig

Its like we are being held hostage for this thigLol, he held United to ransom (when he wouldn't sign a new contract) and now he's done the same with England. Amazing... Laylabelle 9,534
And then suddenly he was a hero again because he signed another contract...the fact he was getting way way more dosh was completly inored! The FA have shot themselves in the foot really...they banned Rooney for swearing that time...yet went all out to defend the guy for randomly kicking a guy... Ollie 4,400
Wayne Rooney's just a cunt, pure and simple. I didn't give a shit if his ban was reduced or overturned or made bigger because i just don't like him. I'd rather see England win games without him. He's a great player but only when he feels like it. He was SHIT in the world cup and let the country down. He owes us.
Ollie 4,400
Anyone been watching SSN this morning? Apparently the Ukrainians are all planning to kick our heads in. There's a special report at 7:30 tonight. They said that they see English, Polish and Russians as the toughest hooligans and they want to compete against the best and if anyone is in Donetsk (where we play 2 of our games) with England flags, shirts or anything else England related, they will remove it with force as it's their territory. They still think we are what we are from the 70's n 80's... fucking idiots. http://www.skysports...7742757,00.htmlThank fuck i'm staying at home. LDN Blue 7,903
We started this hooligan culture and now we're seeing the repercussions of it. It's a shame how seriously people will take football to the extent of this targeted violence. Always gives me a flashback to those Leeds United fans killed in the UEFA Cup semi-final or something like that. dave30

Laylabelle 9,534
Find it funny how after 2 decent games against us suddenly Carroll is the way forward...he was so bad against Swansea...and everyone else really
Ollie 4,400
Club is always before country in my book and always will be. that doesn't mean i wouldn't be happy to see us win something internationally but i hate half the England squad, i feel a tad hypocritical cheering for certain players like Gerrard, Rooney, Rio etc. One love. Laylabelle 9,534
Exactly!! It takes effort to get happy over Rooney/Gerrard etc scoring! But yeah will support the team in the Euros anyho...but cant see us being in it for that long anyways... LDN Blue 7,903
With Smalling out Roy might be forced to pick Terry. Jagielka's been a shadow of his former prime, Rio got nothing on Terry this season and Jones is still pretty raw. Though a snub will work just as well for us, so either way it's a win-win as fair as I'm concerned.
Ollie 4,400
Will go with youth, experience and form. I can see a back 4 ofRichards - Lescott - Cahill - Cole2 City lads next to each other and the 2 Chelsea boys. Both hopefully buzzing from major trophies. I hope he takes JT because i'd like to see 3 Chelsea boys at the back, especially as we've been pretty good at the back recently and there is a great understanding between JT, Gaz and Ash. You'd have to pick em together if you have any real sense. I just feel that he wont pick JT.
lecter 84
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1071182/england's-roy-hodgson-won't-take-both-rio-ferdinand-and-john-terry?cc=4716Not very reliable considering it is from Harry Harris. Once again the FA and the England coach are acting like cunts, if true!
