England U21 side is starting to look a bit jaded/average for me as stronger players are moving up). TBH he'd be the perfect understudy to Matic.. Created the opening for the only goal by turning from defence to attack with a turn and acceleration in midfield, getting past 2-3 Brazilians and putting a player through who got fouled (Ward Prowse scored from it). Certainly between him, Redmond and March. Strong physically and created chances going forward while made some crucial interceptions, challenged and headers defensively. Midfield is where his future lies though that's if he wants to make it here as we have far too many defender as it is.
