Peter Kenyon considers future at Chelsea

Kenyon deserves more credit than most people think, he is responsible for quite a few of the deals and decisions that have made Chelsea what is today.

However it's not hard to see how frustrated some fans may get by him. Whilst I wouldn't go as for as saying we'd rather sell Essien & Drogba than lose Kenyon, there's more to thank him for than you think.

Exactly.. HE may have fucked up on the footballing side a few times, but he is unparalleled when it comes to brand promotion and marketing strategies !!! Chelsea is now a household name even in Asia and Africa. COme to think of it. Where were we a decade back ?? It was just the Europe and mostly UK alone...

Then you are an idiot.

The most important game in the history of our club, and you call it a facial expression. Well he embarrassed us and made us a laughing stock with the media. I'm not sure why you are showing loyalty to this bounty hunter anyway. He will go where the money is, as he proved when he left the club he professes to support.

Completely agree, 100%. Never thought we'd get to the stage when we had a Chelsea fan fearful that Kenyon might leave.

Just make sure he closes the door on the way out.

for all the work he has done to revolutionize this club he deserves all the credit, and anyone who has any knowledge of exactly what he has done and just how much of an impact he has made will consider him one of our biggest assets.

He has created a fanbase in Jakarta, and Shing Pong through agressive marketing, shirt selling and smarmy sponsorship deals.

He has been paid extremely well for converting Cauldron Bridge of passion and intimidation for visiting fans, to a sterile camera clicking overpriced shrine for day trippers.

Revenue has increased, but at what price ? Hes been flogging the soul of Chelsea FC -and I for one, cant wait for him to fuck off to Eastlands, Coca Cola or McDonalds....

Correct. We are quickly becoming a soul less, faceless club, and that is due in some part to greedy fuckwits such as Kenyon, The quicker he fucks off the better. The CL final showed just what little class we have. Why didnt They agree to at Least Butch Wilkins to lead us up, win, lose or draw?, Our youngest ever Captain, et all. But no, we had to let the fucking gremlin do the damage, much to the enjoyment of Man Ure fans everywhere. Now an intelligent man would have immediately seen this is a very, very poor idea....................But not Kenyon.

Your talking shite, Our biggest assets are Lampard, Essien, Drogba and Terry.

Its because of the deals that Kenyon makes, you have those"assets" staying at the Club. Lampard wouldnt have stayed if he wasnt given the deal that he wanted. Essien and Drogba deals were made by Kenyon. Essien would have been playing for Man Utd if it wasnt for Kenyon. And Terry, well, we know whats going on there.

Kenyon has build the brands. Most older fans take the mickey out of Kenyon for taking teams to South East asia and America but they miss the point. If you dont take the teams across the world, you wont have a Fan base, and then You wont have your Revenue and then You wont have your so called "ASSETS" in the name of Lampard, Terry, Essien and Drogba.

Kenyon is the best in the business for what he does. He is an Asset to the club. If it wasnt for Roman's tinkering with Management, we would have won anothe league title along with UCL under the leadership of Jose Mourinho, and more important REACHED THE GOAL OF BREAK EVEN BY 2010.
