Arsenal Vs Chelsea.

In an ideal world, our team would have been this:

Cech, Belletti, Terry, Carvalho, Ashley Cole, Ballack, Mikel, Essien, Lampard, Drogba, Joe Cole

A narrow midfield employed like last season to good effect in the Carling Cup final. But we don't live in an ideal world, and had to play many second-string players. This is one defeat - we have enough quality to bounce back. Its not as if we've just lost the CL final.

Absolutely. As a top 4 club you HAVE to win your home games against the other big 4, that goes for the Arse too, a draw would have been a fantastic result for us. We still have to play all of them at the Bridge still this season and can quite easily claw those points back.

A couple of new players and our key returning to fitness and we will be in fantastic shape.

That is his solution, what do you suggest he do different? He would still be criticised if he does something different. For anything he does, in fact.

Too early to judge whether he can walk the talk, like you said, he has only been with us for 3 months. And do take the circumstances we have when talking about a positive difference.

we didn't have our key players, but it should not be an excuse to not to play the promised attacking football. by the way we have decent players to cover for all the position we play. we also have decent and promising youth players. he made the promised but didn't keep it. isn't it what we called a "LIE"?

people didn't get criticised out of nothing. we have a very big team, all are either proven premier league players or have win cups at their previous club (esc hilario), successful proven coaches (clark, ten cate), state of the art training facilities, not a demanding owner that support him 100% (only towards him), no interferance from any of the club hierarchy, no civil war, we, Chelsea fans don't boo our own players. all the recipe for success is there for him to take (minus a footballing brain that is him). can you come out with any other sensible FACT, no excuses please.

you can keep your faith in him, biru, while i can't stand an idiot lied to us and ruining the team. we are a team in the title contender bracket, i dont want us to be a team that are only able to fight for champions league spot or worst just simply YOU wanna give him times while other club didn't wait for us.

TBH, all our attacking players seem to be too mechanical and lack the creativity needed. Doesn't help that Essien, Drogba and Ballack are missing. Sheva still hasn't proven himself. AG definitely need to buy at least 2 creative attacking players next month if he wants to play the promised attacking football.

How is he ruining the team if he has a good record so far? He would be ruining the team if we keep on losing, which we don't. Like some people predicted when he got the job.

LOL @ 'we, Chelsea fans don't boo our own players'

Some of us do. Drogba was booed. So was Sheva, if I'm correct. You know, all this slagging of AG reminds me when Drogba used to get it endlessly. :P Look at him now, he HAS proven all of his doubters wrong.

Furthermore, only 3 of those are FACT, the others are assumptions/opinions. Those are:

- state of the art training facilities

- we have a very big team,

- successful proven coaches (clark, ten cate)

But it doesn't help when several of key players on a very big team are out missing.

We're gonna go on and on so whatever. Let's just agree to disagree. thumbsup.gif
