Dominate the ball, keep it cycling well, get forwards into dangerous positions, fail to convert the ball dominance into goals, and then concede easy goals when the opponent has caused almost no danger. Two basically identical goals conceded immediately after USA was dominating and playing well. The Dutch didn’t really have to do anything other than coast and not concede.
