Tomo 21,751
He should always be the firstnameon the teamsheet, PFA RB of the year in 2009/2010 but yet somehow Bosingwa still wormed his way back in
Jase 43,479
'Superb' might be stretching it, though he grew into the game as it passed. Definitely unlucky with that vollley that hit the crossbar. The free header early on should have gone in.Love the guy, has to be considered as a core member of the team for the next 4-5 years or so.Ok, 'superb' was probably the wrong word to use for his performance against Stoke but it was certainly not against Napoli yesterday. He was an absolute rock at RB. He has shown Bosingwa on really how to flourish in that role.
CHOULO19 24,332
Absolutely textbook traditional RB performance yesterday....just flawless.

Popular Post! Melanicus 5,208 Posted March 16, 2012 Popular Post! Biću mu večno zahvalan zbog toga, Ševa je nesumnjivo jedan od najvažnijih ljudi u mojoj karijeri."My translation:I dedicated my goal in 105th minute to on of the best forwards of all time. I devoted that "7" to Andriy Shevchenko. I said that I will include him in my celebration, if I score goal and luckily I scored. I will never forget what Andriy did for me and how he helped me, when I came to London. I didn't understand English really good, so he explained what team expect me on and off the field. I will appreciate him for this. Sheva is one of the most important persons in my career. Sheva., Kostas, Kieran. and 5 others

nullabletype 987
I like Ivanovic, he brings plenty to the table and is a real good player. That said (uh oh) I don't think he's as great a RB as many would have you believe. He is our best option though and so long as he keeps Bosingwa out of the running he's worth his weight in gold. Kieran. 6,317
I think he's underrated as a RB.
Tomo 21,751
Ivanovic was PFA right back of the year in 2010 yet Bosingwa still managed to worm his way back in Most would have left after that.
Spike 12,049
Well it explains why Sheva was celebrating with the lads after the Napoli game.
CHOULO19 24,332
I like iva at RB, because despite not being a typical modern day RB, he offers something very few fullbacks offer now a days and that is a solid defensive display. He may not get past a defender too often and show off fancy skills and foot work, but he does perfectly what a RB is supposed to do and that is put in a decent cross. He is also one of our biggest threats from corners.

People often fail to see that Paulo was once the best at what he does in Europe. He was immense in our back to back league titles under Jose. BlueLion. 21,491
He got injured at the back-end of the 04/05 season and was never the same again, but was still class and reliable.

BlueLion. 21,491
Playing him CB was a good move by RDM. Would have been easy to rest him, but he is a commanding presence for us at the back, another good game.
