Fulham Broadway 17,319
Something better change, 1 point from 9 against the big 3 isn't good. Only 2 wins in the last seven games, isnt good. The players dont seem fired up, and theres no second half transformation when drawing or losing...... Ollie 4,400
After we went 1-0 against Man Utd, we showed nothing, just got a bit of luck with the goal and got away with it. When we went 1-0 down to liverpool we showed nothing and when we went 2-1 down to arsenal we showed nothing. All we are atm are bullies to the little teams. But that said, i just think we are an away kind of team. Great on the counter etc. We can beat the other 3 away i believe beause of our way of playing, just at home we look like we dont know how to play. You can clearly see the difference in Joses Chelsea and Scolari's Chelsea. This would never of happened under Jose. Not in a million years. I'm jus pleased that no1 is running away with it this year. nobody looks especially great and the big 4 will lose more. Man Utd and Liverpool dont look any better than us. We just need to carry on bullying the shit teams and we really need 7 points away to those other 3. First half was good yesterday, just after they scored we completely died. Even avrams Chelsea showed more desire than Scolari's lot. Edited December 1, 2008 by OllieCFC

I noticed a lot of players seemed physically fucked after about an hour -even Boswinga and Cole. Are the pampered multimillionaires unfit ? This is a fundamental that should be taken care of. For me the priority would be for Scolari to lose it a bit in the dressing room, to show them anger and passion, as I dont think that is easily as forthcoming from him and Ray Wilkins as it was from Mourinho and Clarke..... Slugger O'Toole 0
All this "Plan B" bollax is driving me mental, why does everyone on here sound like Jamie f**king Redknapp? We were 2-1 down yesterday, quite unfortunately in my opinion but who was on the bench to implement this "Plan B". We have a serious shortage of players at the moment and if Deco, Ballack and Lampard have all gone missing in a game as big as this who is going to turn it round? Stoch? Malouda? We haven't got anyone on the bench to make an impact at the moment, so how is a "Plan B" going to emerge? I was waiting for all the Jose stuff and his magical substitutions to come up. I agree in his first couple of years he did manage to pull off brilliant substitutions but in his last year all his Plan B was to put John Terry and Robert Huth up front and Essien to RB! That was it, and for the record it didn't fecking work! I was very unsure when Scolari was appointed but I'm definately warming to him, people have got to remember that this is not his team yet. He has to be given the backing to sign his own players and once they're in we should see a better standard of football combined with results. Personally, I spent the whole game wondering how the fuck Soloman Kalou managed to blag his way in to a top four team. He was bought for his potential three years ago now and still looks so average it's untrue, he's got to be one of the first out of the door...surely? Yeah, I think a public criticism might be good for the team, too. Like when Jose publicly slated Joey.

Aesthetic Relic 301
Ok, so maybe my posting of a door and flights to Brazil was a bit drastic, but in reality.....if things keep going as they are that'll be what he'll be looking at. If this was Grant or any other half arsed manager who lost our home record, who doesnt seem to have a tactic to break tough opposition down other than hoof the ball into the box we'd be calling for his head and screaming "You dont know what you're doing". But this is Scolari. The saviour who'll bring a bit of flair back to the team and stable the ship............ He's too long in the tooth to be given an easier ride just because he won the World Cup. He's done the rounds in domestic football throughout the world and should know what to do. I honestly thought the Liverpool game was an off day, but the cracks that appeared then are turning into caverns. This has to be our worst run of form in some time. I've been there and done it before, got the t-shirt and all that when results like this were half expected. But I'm certain that during those days we could muster more than one shot on target in a game. Thats totally unacceptable. I dont believe it to be a confidence issue. when Grant was here, the players took it upon themselves to pull together and keep the team moving forward. Its basically the same players. So whats the problem? The loss of Steve Clarkes influence on the team? Scolaris inability to have a few tricks up his sleeve to turn games in our favour? Training methods? Injuries to players? Something is not right. Abramovich wanted flair. He got it, but at what price?
Drogba11CFC 108
Losing Sheva and SWP. We should never have sold Robben either.
Aesthetic Relic 301
Robben was made out of balsa wood. Sheva and SWP were tried and tested and failed. We went wrong in the summer by not having a back up plan to Robinho. We put all our eggs in one basket which was a massive mistake and we're paying for it now. We should have been working in the background knowing that if this was to happen we could fall back onto someone like Huntelaar, Quaresma, Sneijder, Van der Vaart, etc...... Aesthetic Relic 301
Patience fellow brothers.. Patience... My patience is getting to its limit. you cant argue with out away record. Its our home record thats pissing me off. 4-5-1 works for us away. At home we need to go for the throat so go 4-4-2 and take the game to the opposition. We dont need a defensive midfielder(Mikel) for games when teams are going to sit back and soak up the pressure. Theres your plan "B".
EskWeston 696
Lets not get Carried away yet and start calling for Scolari's head. Look at our bench Sunday, and what plan B was there? Personally i would have had Deco off and Stoch on sooner. Malouda is once again becoming a liability and waste of space. Carvalho, Essien, J.Cole and Drogba! 4 massive first team players for us missing. Take the equivelant out of any other team and they would struggle worse than what we have. But it is becomming a worry that we creating so few chances in a game to score.

There are players missing, and in Big Phils defence he hasnt the players that he wanted - Kaka, Ribery etc. Deco is Malouda mark2 with some of his fuck ups. No one is calling for his head as yet, just questioning his tactical nous, and general comittment to the SW 6 cause, as much of the love (I think) comes from the relief of despatching Grant.... There is no doubt that we are underperforming at the moment. And there are some players who are not pulling their weight. But lets also remember that Scolari has done a lot of good for our team, we have had a great start to this season and played some wonderful football. I am sure he will pull us out of this soon enough.

Does he have the clout/linguistic capabilities to reprimand/ motivate the underperformers, ala Mourinho ? Hope so....

I would say with his personality he would not be scared to lay into anyone if needed. Our lack of performing players on the wings has been a concern for a long while now, probably since the days of Robben and Duff. I would think come summer there will quite a few changes made now Scolari has had time to see what these players are all about.
