Aesthetic Relic 301
On another forum, quite a few Wolves fans have been raving about Mancienne. They gave him MOTM in 2 of their recent matches. That cant be bad. If he can handle the Championship which is more hectic than the EPL then I'm sure he can deal with the step up a few levels. No-one will leave imo. We're thin enough as it is and it would be pointless if we let someone go and then have another injury crisis on our hands. He shouldn't have been bought in the first place as we already have Mancienne. Edited November 12, 2008 by .Biru

If this really happens, it'd send out a message that we do give our academy youth chances, too. Which I'm sure will make us more attractive to future 14-16 yo with potential. Aesthetic Relic 301
LFS has said he wants to bring one youth team player into the squad every year......... We've seen Di Santo a few times, Sinclair, Mancienne and Stoch have been on the bench on several occasions, but we have yet to see any of the them bar a short appearance for Sinclair a few weeks back. We need to start giving them a chance, with Money being as tight as it is atm in football in general, we need to develop our own players instead of shelling out millions for someone elses. Not only tonight, but in games when we've it won with 20 minutes left, why not throw them on ? A few weeks back we had Belletti, Joe Cole, Ferreira, Stoch, Di Santo and Sinclair on the bench. I think it was Sunderland......we were 5-0 up with 30 mins left....none of the kids got a chance. JB, JC & PF all came on.That was an ideal opportunity to get them involved. Good call, theres no reason why in 'safe' circumstances young players should not be brought on. I'd go a step further and put some under pressure now and then, in not so comfortable situations. The reality is that with the pressure on managers to succeed, they want ready made players off the shelf. With instant global communications, and a willing network of parasitical agents only to eager to pimp their players, its easier to buy a completed product. Laylabelle 9,539
Agree.Never gana be able to see how they perform under pressure etc and in certain situations if you dont throw them on and give them the experince they need to build and learn from esp as said in games where we're 5-0 up etc. And if they dont get it here seems likely they'll look elsewhere and we'll loose what look to be class players over time
Mart 29
Ferreira can go if he wants more game time. He hasn't got many years left at the top level and he's good enough to play first team football at a lot of top clubs. Nevermind players leaving, we need to bring in a top class winger/striker. An alternative to Robinho, basically.
zinctek 470
most of you are saying Ferreira dont forget only last year he signd a 4 year deal so i dont think he will be leaving just yet! we need to bring in a forward no questions about it, drogba out for a while i bet and.A cant score for shit 90% of this goals i could have scored and di santo just getting on his feet in the EPL so get Owen in,OLD i k now but someone who can score a few every few games drogba knocking them from the air down to owen and he will do the rest, if we could get someone like owen for 3m it wil be nice

Thats what Jose said that time when Arsenal kids starting doing well in the Carling Cup.That if he could and didnt have the pressure to win trophies etc then he'd be happy to what Wengers done..something along those lines anyway

.Cee 50
I'm thinking Ferreira, Bridge & Cudicini should go as they rarely play and are taking up space for youngsters.
