Aesthetic Relic 301 Posted October 19, 2008 Share Posted October 19, 2008 Drogba: OK for Chelsea fans to blame me for Moscow defeat Didier Drogba says he can handle Chelsea fans blaming him for last season's Champions League final defeat to Manchester United. “If it makes it easy for some people to blame me for the loss, it’s ok, I can take it," said Drogba. “And if we could get to the final this year, win it and I score one of the goals then, yes, that would be fantastic. Looking back at the game I think I gave it my best because I want to be No 1. “Sometimes I do that with success but sometimes I do too much, as I did to get that red card. I know it and I apologise. But we all make mistakes. That’s life. “But remember, I could have missed that penalty too. If he hadnt got sent off..we could've won..and yo and behold still have Avram Grant except prob without Steve Clarke,Lampard etc so we'd be screwed...ok a big if but still..and its done now so...
