Rice only makes sense if we sell Kante. Playing Kante and Rice together will bore me to death emoji30.png. And I do not see Kante leaving us. Lampard loves him and Kante wants to stay. Real cannot afford him and I do not see PSG going for him right now

Rice as CB and Kante as DM.

Against uninterested City side? They had nothing to play for and looked like that. We kept two clean sheets against City just last season in 2-0 home win and in 120 minutes long cup final.

Uninterested. Really? Losing the game would officially end the title race. Followed by a guard of honour in just the next game. What part of their performance makes you think they were uninterested.

Pathetic. I mean literally the worst Chelsea plauer. Brain dead, idiotic. Foul him, pull him, take the fucking red but keep it to 1 goal difference.

This pathetic excuse, oxygen wasting of a footballer, is either selfish as hell or just inept, inadequate to do the base minimum for his team.

Fuck him and hope we sell his sorry ass asap.

If kante is not fit for wolves, its game over for us.

He is beyond brain dead. For somebody people like to gas up as an intelligent playmaker etc he is one of the dumbest players we have.

Jorginho ‘top of the list’ at Juventus, but Chelsea not giving any discounts — report

Granovskaia don’t play that

https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/chelsea-fc-transfer-rumours-news/2020/7/23/21334369/jorginho-top-of-the-list-at-juventus-but-chelsea-not-giving-any-discounts-report

Manchester United v Chelsea - FA Cup: Semi Final

Jorginho has started Chelsea’s last four games, including last night’s ridiculous 5-3 defeat at Anfield, but that hasn’t really stemmed the growing tide of exit rumors that began in earnest after he had failed to feature in any of the first five games of Project Restart.

But even as Jorginho remains a divisive figure in the land of Chelsea, in the land of Sarri, he remains top regista. Former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri would certainly to reunite with the 28-year-old, but it appears that Chelsea won’t make that too easy.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Chelsea want to break-even on any potential deal, which means that Juventus would likely have to pay close to the €57m we paid two years ago. Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has an excellent track record in extracting maximum value from our transfer sale, and there’s no reason to think she couldn’t keep that trend going in this case.

While Sarri apparently keeps insisting that Jorginho is the missing piece at Juventus — who are about to wrap up another Serie A title despite less than scintillating play — Chelsea probably have the upper hand in this negotiation. Unless Juventus cough up the money, Jorginho is likely set to stay.

So, your move then, Juve.

Problem is, with Kepa and GK going to cost us, we need to maximize profit on these sales. For eg - jorginho has 30m left on our books, so thats the bare minimum. I mean who in their right minds would want to pay that much for him, forget about more.

Just a fucking predicament. I think we might pull out of Kai deal if no CL. and simply concentrate on getting a CB, LB, GK.

The ricochet for third goal was a bit unlucky and not taking Robertson down was naive but felt he didnt play too badly when we had the ball on the front foot and his raking passes out to Alonso and James were a feature throughout that showed the strengths of using this 343 system offensively. The good and bad of Jorginho. Again OTT reactions perhaps but can see the frustration from his role in those 2 goals - 3rd and 5th. Why was he defending front post for that corner?

I think we had the same issue with Fabregas, amazing creativity but if we didn't had cover for him we would go down easily.

We never properly replaced Matic, and without Kante, Jorginho is the same predicament that was Fabregas back then.

The thing is creativity is nowhere no Cesc level and Cesc seems a bit athletic but with Jorginho he is pointless all he does is play sideway safe passes all day long no invention no boldness no risk taking just safe pedestrian style of play...

Well I remember when we took out Gilmour and he came in as a sub people was saying why he was all this time in the bench?

So the truth is that we have no one better but him.

And if he is the best we got then no wonder our team is mediocre.

Gilmour will be better than him potential wise cos he seems athletic put his body during challenges has good dribbling ability to at least bypass press and his passing range ability for his age is insane...

We have great mix up of great good fair and shit combination of midfielders...

The midfielder that suppose to be here next hopefully if we are dead serious about becoming a top team should be...

Kovacic...

Kante hopefully he stays fit

Mount

Gilmour

RLC together with the potential arrivals of Havertz and maybe Rice...

Our positioning for corners has been pathetic all season.

Tbf, the manager by the sounds of it just tells them to go out and sort it out between themselves like Cech, JT, Lord Percy, Ash, Ballack, him and Drogba used to do.

People still do not understand Jorginho role...

See? Most passes into the final 3rd even this season. This is his job. This is why Pep wanted him. He has his flaws of course but there are systems that can hide them.

Henry on Pep philosophy: "For him, winning is a consequence of playing well with the ball on the ground, respecting his plan, staying in position and always keeping possession.

"He puts everything in place to get the ball up to the final third of the pitch and then trusts his team to finish the job in the only area of the field that can’t be planned for."

Jorginho job is to move the ball into the final 3rd and than it is none of his business.

This could not work well with our attackers this season but next when we have Pulisic, Werner, Havertz and Ziyech it can be amazing.

But than again, we have no idea what Frank wants and I am not sure even he knows...
