There's more space for him to exploit in the Premier League. At Barca/Spain he faces parked buses every week. That's no exaggeration either.

No surprise a player like Sanchez for example creative/dribbling stats skyrocketed at Arsenal compared to his Barca days.

Busquets is an excellent DM, which very much includes his defending. Not one DM reads the game like him. He's a strong tackler as well. Easily better than Matic imo.

Put Busquets in our team and he will be exposed imo. I am not denying is quality but in no way would I say he is better than Matic. You put Matic in Barca and we rarely will talk about a flaw in his game. As for tackling, no DM beats Matic in that department.

Imo we can't really use those stats to compare them since Pedro plays for Barca. He doesn't really have to retake the ball when you have 70% possession.

The reason Barca have that much possession (under Pep especially) is because of how they press and Pedro was a key a part to that as anyone.
