Radamel Falcao

So long as we also sign Griezmann then I'm fine with Falcao. We need an attacking player that directly and instantly improves our first XI and Falcao isn't that.

If Falcao is able to recovers his performance prior to February 2014 (I trust Jose and our medical staff) we would have the first or second best pure forward in the world. I think his signing is a risk we have to take.

Jose used the experience to compete for Champions League. Facao is perfect in experience. A key player on each Final that he has played.

Falcao also bring us the tactical ability to play with two forwards (Diego Costa - Falcao) at certain times of the season (not always) as a very interesting tactical variant.

Diego and Falcao are understood in the grass to perfecion.

And Falcao could motivate Diego Costa to make Diego the best forward in the world. Competition and meritocracy for our forward.

That would be a great signing. Hopefully the rumors are confirmed soon.

Regards.

As I have already said, I am not too fond of this move. But if he takes a massive cut, as is being suggested and Jose thinks he can be our 3rd choice striker, which he seems like he does, I am going to trust Jose.

Since Aguero signing I never hunger for a technical powerful striker as Radamel Falcao, I would love this to go through. I bet some still want Aguero here I would have been happy to have Falcao whom I place on same level with Aguero.

Sign Him up!!!

Falcao has been on his way to Chelsea for 2009. Sign him already and get over it because I'm sick of the constant rumours.

I imagine we'll be linked with Cavani and Aguero too at some point

dont get why people are backing this. pre-injury falcao is history. who cares about this, what counts is the presence and he was dogshit playing for United. he looked like a kid playing football for the first time and completely got bullied. couldnt cope with the tempo neither with the physicality of the game. Mourinho aint a magician, unlike some people in here seem to think. would be a complete disaster to sign him, especially with his salary (even if taking a pay cut, he would still be one of the best earning players) and his injury profile. hopefully we will dodge this bullet. Futhermore he wont have any re-sell value at all if he flops.

dont get why we arent interested in Vietto for example. 20 m euros is his clause and he is one of the best talents in the world..instead we are going for dead wood. Icardi would be an option too

As long as his wages aren't excessive (so around £80k) I would be okay with having him here to compete against Remy and Costa. Not expecting big things from him though.

A guy like that cannot simply lose it in one year. Unless he did a Torres knee thing. I wonder what happened with him.
