You are talking as if it's a given that a team will take Torres right now. We'll be lucky to even get rid of him as early as January or even next summer for that matter.

Ba may leave but even then, we will get only less than 10m for him. As for Mata and De Bruyne, it's all just rumours now. There's nothing concrete right now to suggest we'll be selling them.

All of this is just rumours. The reason they are rumours is because there is some degree of plausibility.

With Ba even if we sell him for 7.5M and buy Falcao for 50M its a no brainer to me Falcao for 42.5M is still a great deal.

That amassing striking talent isn't generally the best way to win trophies. Building a strong team with a strong foundation is, and if we actually focussed on doing that then we could have success with the striking talent we already have.

I don't need you to tell me Falcao is a good striker - I know he is. And I agree that when it comes to ruthless, clinical finishing he's ahead of the game. I'm not disputing what he's done in his career, I'm well aware of that, most people are. I'm literally just saying that IMO I think those strikers I have mentioned are better than him.

I've also said before when we were hotly linked with him that I didn't want him because he wouldn't suit what we're trying to create here at CFC but that is another discussion for another day.
