That's essentially 3 players playing in one spot. It works well for united as they have versatile strikers, City as well. They can play deeper or out wide whereas the ones you mentioned, can't.

Even if a really like Falcao, he doesn't suit Chelsea's system.

Just a little fact: Negredo has 1 more goal from open play this season than Falcao. This is with him playing in a far less talented (in my eyes) team which plays for eachother and not for him - like Atletico do with Falcao.

Falcao's goal stats are misleading as hell. So many of them are penalties.
