Dearest Roman Abramovich,

I appreciate all of the things you have done for this football club. You are a man of honor and great importance to Chelsea FC. As a Chelsea fan i will always stand by your decisions as you have done more than enough for us to earn our respect and support.

I have one request Roman, if you want your club to do well this season then please, please, please secure the signature of the tiger that is, Radamel Falcao. I assure you that he will be an instant success and for that blonde peasant that you paid 50 million for, well, he has a knack of performing before and during the transfer windows. For example the end of last season. His hat-trick against QPR and his goal against Barca lured us into the false perception that he might be getting back to his best. He followed this up with a couple goals here and there against Man City, Newcastle, and Reading. All of which were during the summer transfer window. As soon as this window closed, he scored 4 goals from September till December. Torres then realized that his form is shocking and that you would probably try and find a replacement for him during the January transfer window. He then scored 7 in 7. I don't think this is a coincidence. Don't let him fool you Roman !!

Falcao has made a name for himself over the past year or so. His terrific goal-scoring record and his hunger for the game is exactly what we need and coincidentally, those are the traits that you're best buy, Didier Drogba had. Falcao is now being compared to the likes of Messi and Ronaldo. This is no understatement. Falcao is super efficient in front of goal. In La Liga, he has 17 goals in 15 games (1.13). Now, let's compare his to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The Portuguese star has 14 goals from 17 games (0.82) and Messi has 25 goals from 17 games (1.47). But here is the statistic that astounded me ! Falcao has notched up his 17 goals from only 55 shots compared to CR7's 117 and Leo's 83. This means that for every 3 shots Falcao takes, he scores. This shows that his chance to goal conversion rate is higher than that of the best in the world and the best ever. Let's not forget that Falcao plays for a team and with players inferior to our players and Real Madrid and Barcelona's.

I think I speak for all of Chelsea fans when i say 'El Tigre', is the missing piece to the puzzle that is Chelsea. I am sure that with the service that Torres gets, Falcao can be the man to make Chelsea, dare i say it, the best in the world.

In the end no matter what is said I think money will be the most decisive factor, we might pay the clause and offer him huge wage and he'll accept even though he said hes fully concentrated etc

LOL right like Atletico will sell their most valuable player in the middle of the season, when they can get the same amount in the summer and Champions League revenue on top of that, come Feb 1st he'll still be in Atletico....

summer very likely he'll move.

Villa/Walcott more likely for January.

Rumours of Lyon's Gomis also resurfacing today, just after the bastard scored an injury time winner against me on FIFA yesterday, .....but would rather prefer David Villa would work well with Nando too , as Benitez said Torres has backed plans of a new striker in January ;)

Gomis would be a major disappointment, Villa is a risk for me personally I don't know what type of issues there are at Barca but since recovering from his broken leg he has lost his spot in the team to Pedro. He is 31 year old and moving to a new club in January in a brand new League is too much of a risk especially for the type of wages he most likely will require. I would take Villa if he is on a two year deal making less than 100k p/w (he is on 135k euro p/w right now)

ATLETICO HAVE NO SAY IN WHEN HE LEAVES IF THE CLUB MEETS THE BUY OUT!!!

I have a few thoughts on some of the new info.

  1. These are hardly the most relieable of sources.
  2. Assuming they are true (which i assume they are) falcao wouldn't exactly come out and say i want to leave as it puts him in a bad position as clubs will offer him lower wages knowing that fact.
  3. If he says i have no interest in leaving we have to go to him and offer him closer to 200k to get him to leave.
  4. It makes it less likely but people found it hard to believe it was as close as was thought and the same could be said the other way round with me doubting this will be the last we hear of it.
  5. And finally, how many times has a player or manager say i/he are not going anywhere only to up and leave a few days later.

It's less likely for sure but you never know and if roman really wants him and wants to give him a shit load of money falcao will come.

He didn't say he's not leaving, but said he will be staying till the summer. Something Atletico and their fans will appreciate, and he can then leave on good terms knowing he's made them money and also helped them get a CL spot.

Yeah when i said leaving i meant in Jan, but i wouldnt guarentee he is definitely not leaving in January. You think many people would turn down 200k a week when he intends on leaving 6 months down the line anyway... Obviously some players would and he could be one of them but there are a lot more i would think who would take the money... If i was betting on it then i don't think he will leave in january now, but i am simply saying that i don't see it being over as if roman wants him they only have to agree personal terms and things can change very quickly when transfers get into that stage.

I just hope we don't drag it to the last minute no matter he comes or not, get someone QUICK at the beginning of the transfer window!

Torres has been doing well lately but the last game has clearly showed that he was knackered.

With Moses' departure to ACON we will be literally down to single centre forward in January if we drag transfers to the last minute.

My dearest Chelsea fans,

I am deeply touched by your detailed love of Falcao.

However, Falcao is not willing to join the Blues as of now. Him being a very honorable man he wants to help Atletico in reaching CL competition for next year.

Personally, I can assure you my check-book is sitting on my desk.

If he says it´s a go, I am writing all essential details so Falcao may come & join Chelsea asap.

Regards

Roman
