Radamel Falcao

He's had a poor tournament so far. After a poor season, It's not over analysing at all. I have the same opinion of Falcao as I did this time last year.

Most of what i wrote has to do with the cup as a whole. I wasn't really focussing on falcao but the fact that people here are critiquing a players level of performance at a tourney that is probably positioned at the most inopportune time for a player.

And yes it is over analyzing if you're watching this tourney and looking for signs that a player's performance is on par with your expectations for him in an upcoming season.

For me personally my optimism for falcao has nothing to do with Colombia, his form last year, or his recovery time. I'm optimistic that Jose will get the very best out of him and that cesc and hazard will provide him with a level of servicing that will give him chances to score goals. I don't believe utd generated any real chances for him and I really don't think he was used properly either.

Having said that the lowered expectations around these parts will be great for him.

And what is that down to?the injury or confidence?

Combination of both.

Injury definitely led to a decline in his physical condition, and it also affected his rhythm and confidence. Never easy to just shake it off and return to normal, especially at his age.

I know this might be obvious, but that opinion was...?

About what? Dude

About what? Dude

The transfer I think.

Well to exaplain...during ''Torres days'' I was not realy excited. I was pissed, mad, in a mood to break things whenever I saw him play.

And I feel the same about Falcao. This transfer is like pissing in wind. He won ever be as good as he was, not even close. Mou will consider him big player, thats why he will never be third choice. More like second or even play him with Costa. That will lead Remy, who is actualy a good striker, to leave probably.

At beggining I was little interested, but probably just because a big football name was close to chelsea. But in reality we are signing a shit player who isnt worth it. I cant believe people after all this time with Torres, still believe someone like Falcao will shine again. I dunno where people get this positivness and belief in Falcao, after seeing him play so bad for soo long.

Yup, Im this excited.

People seems forget this is a loan move. I understand 'a bit' if it is permanent move or Remy sold because of this. Falcao move not yet completed, leave alone Remy's future in doubt. What I read are rumours after assumption, no quote from Remy himself, nor Jose confirmed about it at all.

Overreaction about Falcao move in this thread imo.
