What truth? So you can read my mind now? You're increasingly showing your immaturity, Mr Admin.

That every time someone tries to have a debate with you, you say don't quote me no more.

Yes, yes I am immature and I don't really care what you think about it. By the way it's GOD to you!

This is not Inception. Don't try to create memories and things that never happened. The only person I told not to quote me was Seb. Check yourself, 'God'.

I also remember a Juve fan you had a conversation with and said the same thing. So pretty sure that's wrong and if SeB one of our most respected members thinks that too I will back him.

So you've admitted Bias now? Poor work all round there, Steve.

You started it.

How? Let's go through it shall we. Seb quouted me. I asked him to stop through the use of a rhetorical question, with no abuse or foul language. Steve then joins in with a swipe at me like an immature child who cannot restrain themself. Its the 8th wonder of the world how he is an Admin.

Good lad. What an insult. Why if someone said that with negative implications regarding my integrity I'd probably kill myself.

Joking aside, it doesn't really matter who started it in the end the only fact remains is that both parties are guilty and both exasperated the situation.

Mata is naive defensively, Hazard seems to put will to do well but I don't think he does enough to really prevent the defender to play. Oscar presses a lot but commits a lot of fouls. All 3 are not selfish players, they're aware of their weaknesses (mainly to keep their lucidity because they think their offensive contribution can balance their weak defending, I do not think that's a right thing though).

Mata and Hazard leaving their position makes them being out of position when the ball is lost and the pressing hasn't really any shape (the manager always has to decide what kind of pressing he wants to apply*). Plus they don't really seem all round in terms of defending, beside pressing very high the opponent they haven't outstanding tackling or intercepting abilities, ability to defend in 1vs1. Actually that makes them press very high when they do so, and they often get tired quite a long time before the final whistle.

*: Suarez's game at Norwich is all but opportunist goals, that's precisely what Rodgers implemented offensively: two hard working wingers, well positioned defensively to block the full backs when the opponent has the ball. Suarez is played in the zone Shearer would regard as the "second penalty box" (he made that remark on MOTD with the 2nd 6 yard box to cut crosses).

Turner's mistake is symptomatic: he cannot pass the ball to the full backs who are properly marked by Suso and Sterling, the intervals are huge (distance between the CBs and the full backs) and there's a mad dog in that zone waiting for the CB to commit a mistake because due to his little passing options he's forced to keep the ball way too much 20 yards from his goal

The relation with Chelsea there is that Mata and Hazard can't mark the full back like the liverpool wingers are instructed to.

And that's exactly the same principle with Adrian/Turan and Falcao who's also very quick to read the defenders weaknesses in the same situation than Suarez scored his goals (anormally large defensive intervals). And if Falcao has the great striker's reflex to adjust his runs between the two center backs, that's even more efficient when the CBs are precisely far away from each others!

I understand what you mean, but my opinion is that you do not always (not even close to always) need defensive minded wingers. Especially not considering the type of football we are starting to play. I believe that we have solid defence, when we play the right players in the double pivot; Ramires+Mikel, Romeu+Ramires, Romeu+Mikel even etc.

Plus Mata and Oscar are often rather deep to get the ball, and they dont create many fouls...I dont get why you even say that.

Yeah, against some teams and under some circumstances we are better off playing players like Moses and Bertrand even on the wing, but in most cases (from what I have seen so far) a team like below will probably be and is our strongest:

Cech

Iva - Cahill - Terry/Luiz - Cole

Ramires + Mikel/Romeu

Mata - Oscar - Hazard
