magic weeds 446
Its simple, of all the top European Clubs, where would someone like Kalou be? Nowhere near. Can u imagine Real Madrid, Barca, Man U, Milan Clubs bidding for Kalou? next to impossible, we have some shyt players that should be playing for Arsenal or Fulham, not Chelsea. period
Slam Dunk 1,442
Can it Happen? No chance Torres will be sold, think about it. Where would he possibly move to?
ruggedknot 105
This has shades of Jimmy leaving the club at about 32/33 , despite being top scorer for a few seasons running till Jose came along and bought Didier , who at the time was 26 ? Falcao , also 26.Natural selection .Edit: Just checked , he's 25 ..ish . There goes that soundbyte.

J.F. 1,484
Torres is still pure class for Falcao.
EskWeston 696
If Falcao comes it most certainly means that Drogba will be leaving, would seem a strange buy considering there are other areas of far more importance to strengthen.
lionsden 4,689
Torres is still pure class for Falcao.Last 2 season's evidence proves the contrary. Otherwise it would also be fair to say "kaka is still pure class for Ozil" or "Robinho is still pure class for Lucas"

dodojojo 510
Where's the logic here? Falcao is a striker who needs support to score. Torres is a striker who needs support to score. He is already on a team where that support needs to be bolstered. So why not concentrate on bolstering that support rather than to replace like for like? Let's face it if this speculation is true and Falcao does come in for Torres then it's simply because the new coach wants his own man rather than to deal with a star signing that isn't his. I think it's a bit crazy to not even give a huge signing like Torres one season in the right environment and opportunity to succeed but this is football. What isn't crazy about it? LDN Blue 7,903
Delighted if true.Goodbye Nico, Didier and Kalou!Yeah, I'm on this wavelength at the moment. As far as strikers go we have; Torres, Drogba, Anelka, Kalou & SturridgeDrogba is 33 now, Anelka is 32 and is already a bench warmer. If we are to play 4-3-3 then Sturridge will most likely be deployed out wide. Which leaves Fernando Torres as our only centre forward. Now, you only need to take 1 look at Drogba when he contracted Malaria to know how much rotation is key in a season and how much we can't rely on one man. Falcao & Torres will be good competition for each other, each pushing for a starting role. It's positive. Only if the other 3 are sold. Severinb 309
noway is falcao better than torres!!!Come on only because he had a bad season!Drogba needed time and we will give torres more time to show what he can do!
LDN Blue 7,903
This may sound crazy but why not keep Drogba, save 30 mil euros and use that money on areas that actually need strengthening?Like I say, Drogba is 33. I understand your point, but it's better to invest in 25-year old Falcao now, then panic when Drogba announces he'll retire in a year or 2.
