So it would be even cheaper to have some young, homegrown talent as 3rd choice. But every coach has his darlings and obviously mourinho sees sth in falcao like he does in ivanvoic. He could score one goal or thirty-one goals. We as fans can't really judge a transfer till the player has left the club and we can all look back in retrospect (hopefully without blue-tinted glasses).I don't get excited over transfers anymore. He will have to take a massive pay-cut for this to make any sense and he is likely to be a 3rd choice striker. Even if he takes a 100,000 pay-cut, that is still 150,000 a week for a 3rd choice striker, which is about 20 to 30k less than what Diego Costa is getting.
