BlueLion. 21,491
#Monaco want to offload Falcao permanently for a fee of €35m [massive hit on €60m paid in 2013]. #CFC pushing for loan+option to buy at €25mLoan him for a season. If he's shit, then he can do one. If he's half-decent, then €25m is next to nothing for a proven international striker.
LDN Blue 7,903
**Cough** Etoo *cough*. If I remember, he was earning like 300K/wk. Took a paycut to play for us. And he never earned more than Drogba. #just sayingTouché. But I still would be pessimistic about the chances of that happening again.. 2-3 seasons ago this would've been the ideal signing because of the lack of any striker at the time. I just don't see the logic in this, we have Diego and Remy so all we need is one more striker to add depth. I'm not suggesting Bamford and Solanke, because I think the former would benefit from another loan. But there are surely cheaper options that will do the job, who is younger and cheaper. Probably just as able too.Quite interesting to read the Falcao move to Monaco and reasons behind it, is a detailed write up on reddit. In a nutshell, he had no sayDo you have the link to this mate? I do, I just don't buy this fallacy of this supposed "pay-cut".If everyone here is right about that, then fair enough I'll hold my hands up to it. I just don't think that will be the case, especially looking at his representatives.

He went to monaco because they were the only people capable of paying those types of fees and wages, similar to Eto'o and Anhzi...If he wants to continue playing in England and for Chelsea he has to take a wage cut. milka 3,393
Monaco striker Radamel Falcao is set to sign for Chelsea this summer. [sky Sports]Falcao is ready to accept being part of #Chelsea’s squad, which would see him back up Diego Costa and Loic Remy. samzilla 517
He's not even worth 35. For that kind of money we could purchase a player about whom there's no doubt he'd do the job.
cfcrules 34
Absolutely don't want him. 2 or 3 years ago, any fee but since his injury he lost one of his main traits, his speed. Of course it's also something mentally he's underperforming but I doubt that's the only reason or main reasonIf Jose wants an experienced striker, there are better ones at the moment
Fernando 6,585
I would take him for the right price and not so big wages.Great number two to have in our squad.

After I check it on the web, yes, it is confirmed 'in talks' only.
