Being linked with Leicester to replace Cambiasso now.

This would be so fun. Leverkusen have been monitoring him for months. Their fans already got excited that they were getting him, then he got linked with him which would have made him unreachable. Consequently it was revealed that we never really were interested, so their hopes got up again. Now it looks like Leicester City's superior financial power will snatch him from under their noses. Symptomatically,the 17th best club in the epl can easily outdo a German CL team.

And yet BPL fans still moan about failure to compete with European powerhouses, in european competition despite being super healthy financially (they basically could sign "anyone" to strengthen the team)

He supposedly wants to go Leverkusen. Internacional have already said its up to the player.

I think it is only a matter of time until English teams rule Europe again. The problem with BPL teams is they are tactically inferior and have a more bloated schedule hence more fatigue. But in terms of financial superiority this is only the beginning. In 10 years, all English clubs will be so wealthy, their failures on other aspects will be masked by their superior signings.

Being tactically inferior would not be a disadvantage if referees from UEFA allowed us to do physical play, but we are at a disadvantage because we are not allowed to impose a BPL style on La Liga opposition, we have to play by their rules.

Kinda, but let's be honest here, some of blatant foul which is a pure thuggery and assault don't really get called but they blown their whistle for the nonexistant foul here in the Prem.

You can only be physical if you find the player in possession, because if the ball is already gone little else can be done.

Imo, Their style of play is perfect to avoid contact. It's sort of anti BPL and toure. Explains for example the dismal performances by city.
