It would be unfair to pass judgment on Cuadrado right now but with the way he's been playing, he'll be in the Premier League flops list pretty soon. Can't fault him for trying and he did try to work hard and put the challenges in against Crystal Palace. But think he's been too eager to impress and tried to overcomplicate matters when simplicity is the best option. Most of Palace's attacks started because of his inability to keep things simple and connect with others. That's without even mentioning the fact that he's incredibly lightweight and gets brushed off the ball so easily. Even Salah, who joined us from probably an even weaker league, didn't struggle this badly when we got him.

I got this transfer so wrong, I'm disappointed at how weak on the ball he is. He's a good dribbler but what use is that if you fall everytime you're touched.

If I was weak on the ball, I'll at the very least practice how to win fouls by putting my body between the marker and the ball when people try to get the ball from me. But he's not good at any and it's so frustrating.

Someone said something in the Bertrand traore thread and it dawned on me, he's actually better than anything I've seen from cuadrado so far.

If he doesn't bulk up this summer or he doesn't beg hazard to teach him how to win fouls, we could be watching our worst transfer since torres.

Ignoring fee for a moment, I can see Cuadrado flopping harder than Torres. Based on what I've seen I seriously have 0 faith in him. There is no excuse for being that useless.

Useless going forward - Bosingwa was better. Unbelievably useless tracking back - Mata was better.
