People who pick Luis can't be going on current form since he hasn't come close to winning the job from Azpi... He's a good insurance policy should be lose one of Cahill, Terry, Ivanovic or Azpi but he hasn't been good enough to disrupt that back 4 end of....

Has anyone stopped to think that maybe, just maybe Azpi's best position is where he's currently playing? I never recalled him being this good when he was playing at RB. It happens quite often in football when managers make discoveries by chance/experiment/accident. Look at Di maria for e.g he had his best ever season playing as a central midfielder and there are many more examples throughout history.

Instead of trying to destabilise what's working so perfectly at LB why nor just buy another RB to replace the weak link, Ivanovic?

Would love to see Luis - Azpi get an extensive run, but Ivanovic has been great (in general, a bit suspect defensively though here and there) this season. Can't drop Branislav.
