LAB 1,030
West Brom seems the most dangerous one from November imo. Very decent side and the match is sandwiched between International break and Schalke.
MichaelDance 552
A referee will stop us, I'm pretty sure about that. Just hope we don't lose the plot like we did after Clattenburg disaster in 2012/13.A ref tried the git.

We've addressed most of our weaknesses but our overwhelming favourite status probably says more about the league than anything else. Only City are serious title rivals. Funny how Jose said we'd win the league in any other country - we have a much greater chance here than in La Liga!

Whiskey 173
At this time, on our best day I can only see two teams possibly beating us.Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. But then again, we all know what football is like. "Who will stop us" as in, who will break our non-losing streak...could be any friggin team.
lionsden 4,689
Funny thing is this team is nowhere near complete yet favorites for the league.Futures good indeed. It's largely because of the Mourinho factor plus many are knee jerking the awesome form that Costa,Fabregas and the team in general have shown so far. there's no way we have a better squad than man city. As a matter of fact their squad is superior which is why our tag as the huge favourite for the title seem rather illogical and let's not forget that we have always started the season very well only to falter away in the end bar 4 seasons over the last decade or so.Let's see where we are come March/April. I think what gave us the favorites tag is like you said Mourinho, his second season record at previous clubs before now is almost flawless and it's early days but manager's seem more aware of Pellegrinis tactics this time round, Big Sam and now Pardrew have done him a new one.We will be kept on our toes but I think all things considered our favourites tag (at this moment in time) is justified. We have better players in many positions, Costa is better than any of their strikers, so is Thibaout, Hazard. Matic and Yaya are equal, Fabregas is a genious. You make it sound like Costa and Fabregas are just on a good run or something. They are in the absolute top. Our defense on our best day is better than City's in my opinon. The only thing I can think of that they have, and we dont, is the consistence of some players on their bench. Some of our players on the bench can very often be very pale (Schurrle, Salah...Schurrle however can be a supersub sometimes). They have better width perhaps. Madmax 9,219
City might have the better names on paper but it's not doing them a whole lot of good right now, is it? I'm reminded of the immortal words of Andy Gray commentating on FIFA 07 - "The that team looks good on paper, Martin, but the game's played on grass." Don't be ridiculous, I agree with the rest. Costa is maybe as good as Aguero but he isn't better.
