DDA 9,938
The whole thing is a sham. Why people let it bother I don't know. It's like when I bite into a Mint Areo chocolate bar I know It's going to taste of mint. It's the sme with these awful award cermonies, you know what you're going to get. Bias but obviously bias decisions.
DYC. 7,542
Team of the year was an absolute farce. Can't argue with Messi, Falco & Ronaldo. Xavi & Iniesta is okay.XABI OVER PIRLO? WHAT? PIQUE?! He's barely featured this year. Alves has been awful.Marcelo has been pretty fantastic, can't fault him. FIFA's bias is evident. Oh and Guardiola's nomination?! No trophies, ended his tenure in MAY. Really?!FIFA doesn't make the team, footballers are the ones who have to vote. The same footballers who hardly watch any football and purely vote based on reputation. manpe 10,861
Wow, lmao Judging by that I'm pretty sure Real or Barca are gonna win the CL this season.
Manuf 1,448
just as always, what matters is goals and world cup. pique, alves, marcelo, xabi alonso shouldn't even have a sniff at that eleven. messi was obvious to win it. over 90 goals and 20 assists? unhuman. NishC300 1,865
When they said Fair Play Award I was like Man United....................................................LOL NO! THE MEDIA IN CYPRUS VOTED FOR DROGBA FOR PLAYER OF THE YEAR! WOW! DIDER DROGBA!How did Alves (who was dropped for half the season) and Marcelo who can't defend to save his life ahead of ASHLEY COLE! Guardiola ahead of RDM for winning a Copa Del Rey? Didn't RDM GO OWN HIM IN HIS OWN BACKYARD WITH 10 MEN! AND DEL BOSQUE! SPAIN DIDN'T DO SOMETHING SPECTACULAR IN THE EUROS THEY HAD THE BEST TEAM! They just squiggled through some games won on pens against Portugal (when they should have lost in 90 mins). UEFA=BarcelonaFA=Ferguson Association (I had to mention that)FOOTBALL ASSOCIATIONS=ANTI-CHELSEA!
Ramzi 233
Still shocked that Lahm didn't make it, he had a hell of a year.
Ollie 4,400
It's a whole Spanish league team with the Spain manager, it's fucking disgusting. IMO Robbie should be manager, Buffon should be GK and either Chielini or Silva should be CB ahead of Pique. Messi scored 91 goals, he did deserve it. He was undoubtedly the best player in 2012 regardless of how many times he's won it. what has Xavi done so breath taking and Alonso? Imo Pirlo was better than them both as was Mata. The whole thing is sick. Dani Alves? He was crap last year and Ashley Cole was better than Marcelo.

Dion 2,476
He scored 91 goals and had 22 assists in a single calendar year. If he didn't deserve to win it, then no one did.And in my opinion (and most people would agree) he is the best player in the world right now, and has been consistently for the past four years. Therefore, he did deserve to with it four years in a row. No one else has been anywhere near his form over the past four years. They shouldn't award it to someone else just because Messi already won it the previous three years.I thought CR7 could nail it this year. He was about as huge as was Messi, very close. Yes he probably deserved it this year for his personal performance BUT he didn't deserve it all the previous times he has won it. Ronaldo should have won it at least once.
