LAM09 7,051
4 or 5 months is all we saw from him,he showed flashes when if it wasn`t for his end product he would have scored quite a few goals for us. then a season on loan where he did well.although I personally would have gave him a better chance.i don`t feel strongly enough to argue his case and can live with him being sold.what I really don`t like is how someone can fall totally out of favour so quickly,go on loan, prove themselves on loan but whatever they do it`s not enough.. we don`t have to chop and change the squad every year. a little coaching up what we got would save a lot of money. Jose has overhauled the squad in quick time to get us back as champions but I do think sometimes he`s guilty of throwing out the baby with the bathwater and this aint really about Salah. it`s something he`s done in both spells. he`s our Brian Clough and I love him for it. just a side of him I wish he didn`t have. He has his favourites. If things don't click, you're out. It hasn't worked in favour for him with De Bruyne, Luis (judging last season) and I think Salah will be another name to add to the list. Our entire squad can do a job, but we seemingly continue to buy players to fill holes.Begovic is an understandable replacement for Cech, but Song, Witsel, Douglas Costa, etc., aren't needed IMO. Improve our starting eleven, but promote players to fill out the rest of our first team. Duppy Conqueror

nadavTKL 1,787
Seems like Salah dont want to play for Fiorentina...Salah did not give an answer to the club so the company decided to act accordingly. Fiorentina intend to issue a statement (SkySport24)The player will earn a reported €1.8m, in his old contract, since Salah did not respond to #Fiorentina's new offer. (SkySport24)#Fiorentina had already paid #CFC the €1m loan fee & offered to raise wages to €2.8-3m but Salah did not respond by deadline. (SkySport24)Fiorentina tried to talk to Salah & arrange a medical but he does not seem willing to accept and would like to settle elsewhere. (calcioweb)Fiorentina considers valid Salah's agreement made with #CFC in January and figures of the loan contract were fixed at the time. Unionjack 7,531
Yeah, how will he survive. Hope the state offers him some social benefits too!Fuckin hard life being a professional footballer. Its not one big piss up, taking loadsa nice gear and shagging everything in sight. Not if you're a Muslim of course. In these times a contract isn't worth the paper its written on. Sign a 5 year deal and the next season youre off somewhere new. There was a time when a mans word was his bond but it just seems like contracts dont mean a thing now.y
Stats 7,142
Yeah, how will he survive. Hope the state offers him some social benefits too!Obviously he will be well off compared to the rest of society but compared to other players in our squad, his wages are relatively low. That is his point. LAM09

Hope the state offers him some social benefits too! We're in a world where people kicking a ball earn more money than people who save lives. It's messed up to say the least, but the point I'm making is clear. TheIceMan and Stats

None of that at Inter. Not sure who's advising him, should have been fired a long time ago.

The Inter project is definitely far more interesting than Fiorentina's over the long term. Stop thinking so short term! lucio
