Actually you are absolutely right about first match. But surely the good coach will be playing all out attack in an away match with Barca being 1 man down the whole match?

Pointless argument anyway.

It was in general, even in that 3-1 win Inter didn't dominated they scored 3 goals on quick counter attacking football and it was a trench in general in almost all the match there at the time Mourinho was there. LOL are you trying to argue now that Inter played attacking football nearly all the time for that CL winning season?

If you have Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain, Di Maria in your team and your main opponent is Barcelona and you don't get into top 2 most scored teams then you don't deserve to be Real Madrid manager. With Inter agreed, he won that CL based on blistering attacking football isn't it. Beating Barca comfortably and dominated from start to finish...

Agreed. Playing attacking with lots of possession doesn't meant lots of goals (Spain). Likewise, scoring many goals does not mean possession or attacking football. Plenty times managers have been able to score a lot by defending high up the pitch.

Personally never associated Mourinho with attacking football but ymvm

First of, Mourinho didn't have Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain and Di Maria at Porto nor at Chelsea his first time around and he still broke attacking records both times. Secondly, Inter beat Barcelona 3-1 on the first leg and lost 1-0 on the second playing with 10 players for 70% of the match. If that's not domination, I don't know what is.

Again, you can criticize the manager for his lineup or his approach to one game or another. You can even dislike his style of football. But you CAN'T accuse him of not knowing how to attack.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL WHAT? which record? don't you mean defending record since we conceded the least goal in BPL history?

and like I said I am not critising Mou and saying he is bad manager or something, I am just saying that attack isn't his strongest point, almost every single team of his are based on solid defending first and it is no difference atm. If you want to know what is attacking, you should have seen Man City, Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Real Madrid and Barcelona this season. Now that is what they call attacking...
