Exactly! I've been saying this for a while. We don't have a great natural rival like Arsenal-Spurs, Liverpool-Everton, United-City...I'd like Fulham to get better. It would create an excellent local rivalry.

I don't expect much to happen. He's clearly minted but as has been said he seems more of a businessman than a sports enthusiast. He can pour in as much money as he wants but they have a very small fanbase, a mediocre stadium, average youth setup and have made zero progress in the last 6 or so years despite Al Fayed pouring in £200m. I think they could struggle this season.
