Nice ceremony aswell, no ugly faces around, emotional moments with Frank and Bobby, very nice speech by JT... Shitty season, but a pretty good end to it. The fans will always lean towards picking up an exciting, attacking talent, whereas the players will always appreciate someone who puts in the work that doesn't get the headlines (the likes of Ramires and Makelele). However it is clear this year that Mata has taken the team by the scruff of the neck at times and carried us over the line.Winning goals away at Spurs, Arsenal and United is not to be undervalued!Hazard has given the team an explosive edge to it's game which I think will push us on to the next level next season. I also believe that he will develop into one of the best players in the world and most natural, skilful talents ever to play for the club. However, there was a chunk midway through the season where Hazard (understandably) struggled. Mata on the other hand, has been our most consistent threat throughout the season and is certainly deserved winner of both awards.
