Nightlife in Sao Paulo is the best in the world, not even up for debate!

There are a lot of places to go to, I would spend the whole day naming them, lol. We also have our fair share of gorgeous women, but nothing like some famous Brazilian cities (Floripa, Rio, Goiania, Porto Alegre, etc)....

The City

Fortitude Valley

Southbank

The City is an alright place if you just want to go out drinking and just get smashed. A few good Irish Pubs a few great bars. Always busy.

The Valley is pretty shit if you want to go drinking because it's full of night clubs. People will offer you drugs like speed, ecstasy, LSD, pretty much any party drug besides cocaine. It's a really superficial place. Even busier. I'm not a fan though.

I haven't really been to Southbank. But it's the prettiest of the three.

Where I'm at for university, Birmingham, is really great. There are so many places, and the best thing is the main clubs are all on the same street. I'd put Birmingham in the top 3 for nightlife in the UK for sure.

I hate going out. That's mainly because of my personality but I've always thought about if the shit nighlife here (I'm living in a shit place with about 30.000 inhabitants) has to do with it too and it could well be that case. There's a couple of clubs and pubs but the majority (98%) of those is not even worth mentioning.

Vienna, the capital of Austria, however, has a loooooooooot more to offer. Love going out there as there's a concert almost every single weekend and tickets are not even that expensive.

Oh, and if you ever get the chance to go Malaga, SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITY! The nightlife down there is absolutely brilliant! A huge variety of pubs and clubs with great locations.

Rio is shit, it really is (imo).

The size of your fun equals the size of your pocket, the great clubs where the hot girls are at cost a small fortune to get in (around 200-300 dollars) and the drinks inside cost triple of what you would pay in a normal place. The music will vary from absolutely great to utter shit in seconds, they dont even let you enjoy two consecutive good songs, lmao. I hate the extorsion at their nightclubs and pubs, totally unfair, just because they receive a lot of Europeans, they think everyone can handle their prices!

If you are tight on money, it will be absolutely frustrating to have fun. Some small things will start to bother you (like paying to use the bathroom, wtf?) and this will totally ruin your night. However, if you have no budget, it will have the best ever night of your life: girls, music, alcohol, amazing sightseeing, ocean, etc.

You can indeed have fun with low money, but it will be a very Rio stuff. Samba, loud places, tables on the sidewalk, churrascos e feijoadas, etc. If you enjoy it, brilliant, if you want anything different, be prepared!

Also, be aware with the beaches late at night, they are as lovely and beautiful as they are dangerous. Rapes and robberies, specially to eastern europe people...

I dont want to ruin your expectation, but I must warn you!

Boro town is fucking shit, I've been on a night out once, It's not really my type of thing I'll be honest. But everyone complains about it anyway, and it always consists of fighting, my cousin was in a pizza shop and he got jumped from behind, they smashed his head off the counter, so he was already knocked out before he hit the ground then they dragged him outside and kicked the shit out of him. The bloke who worked there actually thought he was dead, he is okay now mind.

But yeah anyway it's pretty shit, atmosphere shit, full of Joey Essex wannabes, yeah pretty much bollocks.
