I’ll be honest I have not been this dis-interested in a season for Chelsea in the whole 17 years that I have supported this club. Yesterday when those city goals went in I showed no emotion as I didn’t expect anything.

Football is becoming more and more of a business each day and it’s a sad state. JT , Lamps and Drogba are a dying breed of players who give there all for the shirt.

Regarding the article I agree with some things he is saying but not everything this club just needs to be managed better with decisions being thought through and not just knee-jerk reactions.

Youve just said in the Sack Benitez thread you dont celebrate goals any more. Think how the people that actually go and have for decades feel. There are a lot boycotting as well.

Still nice pic of Torres with a Donkeys head -who do you think wanted that player? who do you think thought -right if I get Benitez in he will get the best out of Torres ?

Roman has been the foundation for our recent real success and becoming a powerhouse in Europe. As much as we praise a manager and players winning EPL or CL, he was the one that brought these people together to achieve great things. Let's keep that in perspective. Chelsea was a great club with a big fanbase before Roman and will be when he eventually leaves, but we can't deny his involvement.

One more thing that baffles me is that some of you are so bitter and just can't wait to spit out sarcastic remarks just to prove how big of a fan he is. I don't think that you can measure the level of support by your time following the club or any other silly criteria like that. That's like saying that a member, who registered 2009 on this forum, is more important than one, who signed up 2013.

Chelsea for the first 50 years of their existence won precisely nothing. Finally, in 1955 the league championship was won. Then in 1970 FA Cup & dick for another 26 years. League cup in 1998 & FA Cup in 2000. Then Roman came on & you became a fan.

The thing is, when I see Roman in his box I see a guy who genuinely enjoys owning a football club. That doesn't mean he hasn't made mistakes but I genuinely think we're heading in the right direction and that we'll achieve success built on sustainable grounds.

But I expect more articles like the one in the OP if we fail to get into next season's Champions League.

I don't know who, I really don't. I think it would be premature for Roman to leave. I for one am eager to see what happens after this season, I want this nightmare of a season to pass by as fast as it can. If nothing will change in the club's thinking, I might just join the "Roman out" party, but not now.

I don't doubt Roman's passion for the game or the club. I saw his reaction when we lost in Moscow and again when we won in Munich. Whilst the article is too emotional there is a semblance of truth there. For every step we take forward we take three or four steps back. Fingers crossed the next ten years is better than the first.
