The only place to be 11,313
Gareth HallDave MitchellDoug Rougvie (apart from THAT tackle against John Fashanu)Peter NicholasI see your Gareth Hall and raise you an Andy Dow - that was the period when we seemed to buy a new left-back every year until we got Soxxy. Then there were a few randoms like Laurent Charvet and Jes Hogh who were just place-fillers. butchercoat 60
Years ago, in fact in the mists of time itself, a groan could be heard whenever the name Peter Houseman was announced. I never understood as I thought that he was a sound 'winger' Tony Hateley was another, our first , get this , £100,000 pound player and we used to say that we paid £99,999 for his head and ten bob each for his two feet, 'cos he was pants on the ground...... memories are made of this stuff, sounds like a song... HNKS 508
Have never been impressed by him nor Hazard at some moments, but it's their first season and it would be unwise to place judgement nowYour not impressed by Hazard? Lol This guy doesnt understand football.

Shit Troll is shitHe goes missing in some matches, Swansea, QPR, Fulham, in matches where his performances were far from impressive. Placing judgement on his quality would be irational

You seem to slate him at every given opportunity.

I would expect a player worth of 32mill and his wages would have performed better against those teams mentioned rather than go missing and start drama with the ball boy. But, yet AGAIN, I will state that it his first season and I am truly aware of the potential he can achieve in the future. Placing judgement already would be unwiseYou however, failed to respond in your blatant and humorous error and trying to disclaim that I have football knowledge, ultimately making you look like a Twat. TorontoChelsea 4,064
We've had people who have been wastes with Chelsea...many players, but none quite like Torres. As expensive and useless as Chris Sutton was, we got rid of him after one year. Torres is an albatross around the neck of the club. He's making what, 170K? 180K a week for 3 more years? Who the hell is going to pay that? Everyone knows we paid 50M for him so selling him for a pittance would be embarrassing. I don't care though. It needs to be done. For the club to move on, he needs to go. Maybe he can regain his form elsewhere. I don't care. He just needs to go. I'm sick of him being a topic. I'm sick of players and managers making excuses for him. I'm just so tired of it all.

butchercoat 60
£5.4 for Pierluigia Casirahgi and one goal might qualify him for this item, but he did surrcombe to a serious knee injury. However, prior to his injury he couldn't find the goal with both hands......or feet for that matter.

I give him a pass because he played so few games with us (10). And as bad as he was, 1 goal in 10 games was still triple the scoring rate of Chris Sutton in the league. 1 goal for $10M pounds (in 1999 when that was a lot of money!!!) Jesus... Ollie 4,400
Casiraghi was finding his feet just prior to the injury i thought, he could've been a great player for us, he was pretty unlucky in so many games, especially his debut at Coventry when Magnus Hedman decided to be the best gk in the world for an hour. I don't think anyone really thought "Why the fuck is he in the side?". And Crespo was very good at times too, especially with Drogs in a 4-4-2 in 05/06. Regarding the "Why the F*ck is he in the side?" players...Definitely Kalou in many games and Ambrosio in goal, Ambrosetti, De Lucas, Panucci. Last season Malouda was in that category as was Torres a lot in the last 12 months. Also Ross Turnbull, he's a nervous wreck, we need a better number 2 than him tbh, there's no trust at all in him from me. Where's Hilario? He's better. You of course are quite correct in saying that he was better in that respect compared to Chris Sutton, regarding the money, Tony Hateleys £100,000 in 1966 was a fortune but on reflection he did score six goals in about 30 odd appearances...
