Now there's a debate..

Didier Drogba, is he the best African footballer of all time? Eto'o or Drogba?

As a Chelsea fan it's hard to be unbiased but I always thought DD was the complete striker. He's the perfect target man, one of the most clinical finishers (arguably one of the best in history with his back to goal) and more importantly he is an excellent team player who can creat for his teammates ( and I don't just mean assists).

Too bad his years are gone.

But we can be happy he played his best years at Chelsea!

I think Eto´o has a different sense of positioning. As far as i recall he is not the classic target man but more of a vivid striker who makes all these runs in and around the box. Drogba though is amazing in winning the ball, creating time and space for the midfielders to slot in and get the flick on.

Drogba for me is the better finisher and more powerful. And most importantly, he has the ability to turn a match around pretty much single handedly and even "put a match to bed" as we´ve seen so often.
